Recycling Technology Update 5 Options

In today's update, we will be showing you the goodies that you can obtain by capturing ECA Tier 1 tech with the Recycler.


The Recycler itself can be upgraded with a custom turret contraption of four heavy recoilless rifles that fire Penetrator shells either one at a time, in twos or in fours depending on the selected fire mode.


Second are canister cannons for regular Quad Cannons, which trade their effectiveness against armoured targets in favor of a lethal splash effect that shreds infantry and aircraft more easily.


And finally, Technicals can also be upgraded with canister cannons which, like the Quad Cannon, give them a very notable splash damage effect while reducing their punch against armored targets.

As of currently you can only apply one Recycler upgrade per unit.

I just hope that the recyler mechanic goes not too far with their goofyness, as long as its RA1/RA2 levels but not RA3 levels.

hover drives, canister quads and nuclear engines are as goofy as it gets.

Thats why the hover drives are stupid, not from a technical standpoint, but they are too toyish looking and even a bit lazy. Just burns my eyes like the Mastodon Siege Chopper (which was killed off, fortunely)
The canister guns and nuke engines look atleast stylish.

But about the Canister weapons of the units upgrades...Are you talking about shotgun shells? If yes, why it would be effective against aircraft? Also, what does shotguns shell have to do with ECA? Yes I know about the Fennek , Commandos & Jaeger...but only because of that secondary thing all GLA upgrades must be Shotguns shells? ECA theme could be Panzerfaust munnitions, non-missile anti vehicles, Wotans, armor....But Shotguns shellls? Really?

That looks friggin' beautiful! A question, don't know if it's been answered before: Do ALL GLA units get combined tech like the Battle Bus gets nano-shock absorbers or something or do select GLA units (Technical, Quad, Marauder, Scorpion) only?

Um canister shells are a big part of the ECA weapon theme.
