As much of a metal gear fanboy I am....I'd have to say EA but EA is a publisher,

So for studios and anything smaller; The "NA-NA-NA I CANT HEAR YOU" idiots developing dawn of war 3 and Konami

EA, hands down. Also as Bruce mentioned the (((DoW 3 devs))) because they are building up to a colossal failure.

I've been pretty dissapointed by a lot of them recently. Most notably Activision Blizzard for their shitty pricing policies.

They seem to be the only company that actually puts pay2win microtransactions into a full priced game.

A 60$ game + 40$ a season pass or addon isn't anything new but in Call of Duty you now get extra weapons via random crates that you have to pay for.
Or the great Real-Money Auction Hall in Diablo 3.
I haven't played Overwatch yet, but I don't really get why a multiplayer-only game needs to cost 60$.

EA doesn't really do anything worse than other companies these days, and Ubisoft gets a pass with their fair pricing policies (see Rainbow 6: Siege)

Also, fuck Bethesda for their shitty PC port of Fallout 4. The game had 470k people online on steam at launch, yet they thought it wasn't necessary to give a single fuck about the PC version.

Can we blame the devs, instead of the company instead?

Overwatch is $40. It's the Origin Edition that costs $60. A fairly common misconception. Personally for me, $40 is borderline acceptable for a multiplayer-only game. That said I dislike the fact it has microtransactions, even after charging full price up front. Though the gated content is purely cosmetic they are still content. Plus the whole system is obviously designed to push players to spend money over grinding for said content. Seems like the Activision part of Activision Blizzard is seeping through.

On topic, currently Konami is the worst if the allegations against them are true, and given their actions up to this point it's too easy to believe that they are. Mistreating employees to force them to quit; disregarding key figures in the company over the years who created the games that built the company; disrespecting longstanding franchises by slapping them on pachinko machines. I'm not even a Metal Gear nor a Kojima fan but rubbing the man's name out of his own work is pretty damn dodgy.

Bethesda and 2K are even worse than Actiblizz for pricing, at least when it comes to regional price differences. The port for Dishonoured 2 was pretty terrible too, I don't know why they even bother if they aren't going to do a decent job. Even Capcom ports are better these days, and they used to be the literal garbage-tier of ports.

For any Bethesda/2K purchase on Steam, the AU price is still charged in US dollars but with an extra 50% added on. Ergo, a $60USD game that should cost ~$80AU when exchanged ends up being 90USD and ~120AUD! I can walk into a bricks and mortar shop here and buy a deluxe edition with a fifty centimetre statue and a steel case for that price. I only buy from UK resellers or the Humble Store/GOG so I actually get the proper price.

Blizzard, and remarkably, EA, are actually pretty good with pricing, at least when it comes to Australia. Their prices are pretty much just exchange rate + exchange fees and are actually charged in local currency.

The hate for EA made a lot of sense 10 years ago, but there are plenty of worse publishers these days. They haven't particularly improved but they haven't exactly gone down the shitter like some previously decent publishers.

well well well ............is tht what you ask according to the pricing, the after sales services, the support, the performance of their products or the goodwill of their name in the competition? you see the answers would differ accordingly.

Also, no point in cribbing or whining about how costly their products are, because everyone is out for business, to make money whether we like it or not.

I would have to go with Activision. (I know Activision is just the publisher but they pretty much pull all the strings) I can't really blame EA anymore as they DO change their products, even if it results in a backlash. Whenever I contacted them for support they would always respond within an hour or two and were extremely helpful so I cannot fault them for that. However... Activision would have to be, in my book the greediest company there is. It's bad enough they barely change gameplay in their most popular series, particularly, the CoD franchise is stale as hell and now they've introduced the most money grabbing feature there is, granted you can obtain stuff in game but the grind is time consuming and you will often end up with duplicates. Their customer support is also terrible, slow and not even helpful.

I would say Ubisoft. Why?, not enough space in a single post say all of that...

Although their Tom Clancy games were decent, especially EndWar but the rest including GRAW series totally sucked. I suppose the latest Ghost Recon will also be a misguided, stereotypical gunfight in Mexico now overrun with drug cartels operating main battle tanks and hyper-masculine America spec ops wrecking down towns, one explosion at a time. Hello, Admire-ral!

Hmmm...

I'd say EA, but that's because of their pay model.

I'd say Ubisoft. From my experience, the games they release while stylistically good to amazing are shallow gameplay-wise. Ubisoft also provides rather bad support and forces its Uplay everywhere on top of Steam. That's besides, the terrible habit of turning absolutely any game into a franchise, even when continuation doesn't make any sense. And my personal beef with them is their treatment of Heroes of Might and Magic series. Anything after HoMM 5 was terrible.

EA was bad till 2012-2013. But Mass Effect 3 ending fiasco, failure with online Simcity, bad BF 4 release and 2 years of worst company made them change their ways.

EA because of C&C 4 (I think other c&c games that EA made are OK and that's my opinion).

a man who play videogames, What are you waiting for me?

EA, because i was child i liked too much westwood and EA is the worst in sense they are stupid, because they bought westwood and then making only 4 games:
- one of them is pure shit (C&C4)
-other is rushed (Generals universe)
-FPS (Renegade)(Is strange)
-exception with c&c 3 and KW are good i like them.

I think they doesnt should bought westwood, they know how to do goods c&C universe than EA.
