Every time I try to install the update it wont do anything and stays at 1.85.
Am I doing something wrong or is there a trick to this?

No? I just installed the game and then put rotr on and then patched it. did nothing else.
Even says I'm playing another version when everyone else uninstalls the patches.

it might be due to you having booted the game at one point and some files got corrupted in the process or the game wasn't properly closed durring the installation of the patches.

Best way to be sure you can fix this is to uninstall zerohour and all mod related files and then delete the zerohour folder (the deleting part is very important) and try again.

I've done this 15 times.
I'm about to reformat my rig.

I've deleted everything to do with origins and C&C, redownloaded origins, redownloaded C&C, redownloaded the mods, installed the mods, installer works and runs, patch will not load and launcher still says 1.85
It was working last night but I booted up my pc and it said it was missing activation.dll so I redownloaded everything and cant update to 1.86 since.
