I took the liberty of doing a quick search for 'framework' to see if anyone had experienced the same problem. Whenever I attempt to start Rise of the Reds with SWR.NET enabled, the game will give me a popup, informing me that MSVCR100.dll is missing, which is more than likely related to .NET framework 4.0. I'm providing a link to an Imgur album, in which all relevant information should be easily visible, rather than me forgetting to mention something. I'd hugely appreciate any help anyone can offer me.
In short, it appears that .NET Framework 4.0 won't install, because a newer version is already a part of Windows 10, making it impossible to uninstall from the computer (as far as I am aware, at the very least). My game was installed with my 'The First Decade' disc and my own CD-keys. Link: http://imgur.com/a/BBCe3 This post has been edited by Panzerjäger: 16 Nov 2016, 0:22 |

you didn't bother to google MSVCR100.dll did you.
its visual c++ , not framework 4.0 and for rotr and most games u want this version https://www.microsoft.com/en-GB/download/de...s.aspx?id=40784 some reason msvcr100 wasn't included in the versions after the 2013 one. This post has been edited by Skitt: 16 Nov 2016, 2:11 -------------------- |

I did google MSVCR100.dll, but the websites are all highly sketchy ... Plus, most sites gave me a file called MSVCR100.exe, which didn't inspire much faith. :\ However, thank you for the clarification, I'll try the link you provided and see if it helps. yeah if its any of those dll download sites or its an exe installer dont touch them.
only go official. should of said in previous post. if you are running a x64 operating system you need to install both the x86 and the x64 versions if 32 bit os just install the x86 version. -------------------- |
