hay i was downloading GTA SA from a torrent and i opened it up and clicked the trainer and got trojans not sure how many still running the scan found 4 so far im using AVG free will it kill the viruses?? ive got no idea what else to do is this all i need to do or do i need to get something else.

That's what you get for using Warez.

now for the trojans AVG should kill most of them if it for some reason does not you can always try Avast which is also free.

Thanks your my hero tongue.gif i will not download warez anymore now

Also can i trust avast and can i un install after i have used it also from the last scan it says the virus is infected what does this mean sorry im a newb with anti virus soft ware and im crapping my pants because i just got my PC back and i dont want it to die on me again sad.gif shit.gif any extra help would be greatly appreciated

yes avast can be trusted i use it myself in a long line of anti virus/spwyware/malware programs on other ppls pcs to clean off viruses and other nastys.

I can also recommend other free ones sometimes some pick up ones that others miss as Sbybot Search and Destroy and AdAware

if you want a few more to look look here
(im a pc tech and i do all this and more on a day to day basis to you can trust hunter and I on this. well me at least 8Ip.png )

spybot and avast together are the best cause avast gets the virus' while spybot gets the adware and all the little stuff

If all fails..try kaspersky 2010 trial edition and you'd be fine. If you are downloading stuff, always use pvt trackers. DO NOT download frm public trackers.

just make sure they have comments is pretty much wat u should check for to see if any1 has found a virus or not
