Hey guys,

as stated in the title I have a problem with installing Generals and ZH.

I have the Disk version of both games and I got a new PC with Windows 10.

Whenever the installation finishes it tells me that it can't read gendat.exe. After that another error window pops up. Something with 1628.

Well, there is some stuff to find with google, but none helped me. So I'm asking here if anyone can help me.

Help is much appreciated

Seb

Well thanks, but that doesn't actually help. I don't even get tot the point where the installations finishes succesful. Like said it's a problem with that datgen.exe. It says something with "can't read datgen.exe"

Aut vincere aut mori, Cave quid dicis, quando, et cui, De duobus malis, minus est semper eligendum.

try copying the files from the cd to a folder then install from the folder. if the files wont copy over then the cd is knackerd but u may be able to get it repaired.
