I'm happy to see that the mod is always on the roads. I follow it since 6 years (I was 13yo) and I started to play it on the computer which was given to me by my school (an old 14' Acer laptop).
6 years later, there are so many changes, and even if I'm sad because of the lost of the Frogfoot (one of my favorites plane 
), I'm really hyped to see what it will become in the future.
Huge thanks to you, SWR Prod. for making an old game even better with high quality content.

Rise of the Reds 1.87 is currently in open Beta, you should check it out, if you haven't done it yet. A new French unit awaits you there

Dear General Arkansas, Im glad you still enjoy the mod and you've stuck with us for years.The years just flow by dont they?
Ah the sokols better then the frog, just dont use it like a frog, use it like a super hunter killer.
Hopefully we'll see you on swr net? Playing agaisnt others and learning the game?

I suppose that this French unit is the Tiger. I like it, even if I don't agree with it design.
Wow Bruce, I've watched so much streams with you and other RotR team members.
I'm sometimes on SWR.NET (with the name Arkansas or Operator 17), but I suppose that we can't play online with the 1.87 ?
I'll be more present when the Arena mode (is it always planned ?) will be officially implemented.
When the mod will be finished, I hope you'll consider to release it as a game and maybe see it on Steam.

Sadly impossible. The base game still belongs to EA. We can't sell copies of it.

Oh yes, the Bloodhound is a lynx haha.
I think about a entire new STR game made with Unity or Unreal Engine.

You could name it "The Reds strike again". Your concepts are so innovatives, you can't stay as a simple mod.

the whole mod appeared due to "mod-ability" of Generals engine(even with all its flaws), so even migrating to other "platform" would be difficult, not even saying about fully making new game.
btw i watch over development of ROTR for some 6 years too, and i still play it on 11,6" HP, cause local education places don't give any free computers. T_T

I, too, have been following this mod since just before 2013. It truly has been great to see it develop (I do miss that frogfoot, though). At least now I have golems with coilguns and blackbears, though!
