SWR Productions Forum _ Support Forum _ Can't see anyone online 1.86

Posted by: Angry Deer 5 Oct 2017, 21:49

So my brother and I both downloaded 1.86 and when we run the game I can see on SWR net that there are players online. But in the lobby I cannot find anybody.
We both had working 1.85, and now when we downloaded the new version we can't find each other in the lobby.

Be cause you need to download 1.87 , the number you`re seeing is the 1.87 lobby i assume , it happened to me before.
Make sure 1.86 is working fine , then install 1.87

1 more thing go to options ingame and make sure the online IP start with 10

See you in lobby !

download 1.87 from here

Be sure to have everything correctly installed and no paranoid antivirus/firewall that could cause a problem.
Aside from this, send us the IP's of your options menu.A healthy one should start with 10.xx etc

Okay se here's a picture of my Options from MyDocuments.

I'm really sad because it all worked on 1.85 , and when I downloaded 1.86 I got this problem. And I downloaded 1.86 because at 1.85 during a game I would get a random message
"The game has detected a mismatch" and it crashed for both of us playing together.

Edit: Also in the Options menu INGAME: what should my Online IP and Local IP be ? It should start with 10?

ur options.ini is fine, yes it should start with 10 for the lan ip (the local it doesnt matter realy)

1. check your firewalls make sure swrnet and game.dat are not blocked
2. if you have not port forwarded in your router make sure direct connect is turned off in the launcher (customize next to the swrnet button)
3. Make sure you run the launcher as admin
4. if they dont work, reinstall rotr and swrnet fully.
