Is there any concept art of ROTR units and vehicles,

Sometimes, you get in front of 3Ds Max and some inspiration comes by, making a totally new unit. Usually it takes a reference, and sometimes, comes from the mind, with no concept art.

We'll post some soon, I for one made a few that I haven't quite transfered over to 3D yet and then there's others, like the ECA structures that I kinda just designed as I went (those of course you'll just have to wait, but they're there!)

There's not many, most were made into 3d first but we'll credit "ImperialGerar" AKA "JihadCodex" for some of his work that did indeed make it into game format in the next update or so =) So are you guys rolling in the credits (thus ending the updates) in the next update or so? |

The next update will merely end the story arc of General Orlov and indeed contain some of Gerar's concept art, but after that, we will carry on with the current pattern of regular updates cos we still have some in reserve...likely right until we do the actual release. After the release of 1.7, our next step will finally be the inclusion of the ECA but since we want people to actually play the new version for a while, we will likely take a break from doing weekly updates in the immediate aftermath of the release. Rest assured though that there will not be a lengthy period of total silence EVER again.

To add to that, there will be progress but we'll be making a reserve of updates to release as we finally get closer to completion of the next version - just as the GLA is right now =)

Hope you guys will finish it to the end of the year,
we waited for years and one or two more would be very disappointing And probably most of players would be more exited with Generals sequel, I personally look more forward to ROTR 2.0,but too much is too much, I can't even count how many years I have waited for final release . . . |

Yeah,it is not just because of ECA (but I must admit that I really love idea of playing with joined Euro Army),
it is also because of feel when you start (example) 5 players map,and put every player to play with different faction . . . Priceless But I am looking forward for playing with new GLA and Russia variations,I hope also that China and especially USA would not be so much same as standard ZH ones,that are present in current version. |

Oh dont worry the original factions will be getting plently of love as well since we're basing our gens from the original alpha generals =)
Long story short our current ROTR is composed of: The original Rise of the Reds idea + Alpha Generals (that The_Hunter wanted to do) + Rise of Europe mod (mod team that approached us to merge and added the ECA). First, the Marauder will actually only be available to ONE GLA General, Warlord Sulaymaan, and second, we have other plans to make that one new and interesting once we get to it.

The new GLA Rebel is pretty much Kassad's Rebels with their Molotov Cocktails, Tunnel Defenders have similar stealth upgrades to Kassad's RPG, Interceptor's gun attack is identical to Desert Fly's, both Jerman Kells have insta kill against aircrafts, Kassad's Radar Van's cloaking went to the new GPS scramblers, 1.7 Marauders will be upgradeable to Deathstrike's tri-barrel, Grad is similar to Thrax's Katyusha. So yeah, rest easy. Goodies that should have been added has been/is being/is planned to be added. If you want more there is a reply in Q3 of the FAQ. But as one of the members who are a bit more into the Chinese faction I am curious - why do you think China needs the Carpet Bombing? It's already a rank 3 gen power of the US faction and goes really well with their theme while giving them some necessary brute force. Giving it to China too would be a bad repeat. Not carpet bombing,just bomber from SW which does CB and other kinds of bombing, I think that is better that China use that Bomber than reskined American B-52 like in ZH. That could work but the thing is TBH I ain't a big fan of the ShW CB bomber either. On a related note - personally I just wish US and China both got new, different planes for their cargo drops. The current ones kinda look like flying bricks. Tunnel defenders in SHW no longer have stealth capabilities, SHW jarmen kell cannot kill aircraft, only helicopters. Oops, got ShW Rocket Snipers and Kassad's RPG troopers from some other mods mixed with ShW Kassad's RPG. But I am pretty sure it was said multiple times before that ShW Kell can kill all aircraft with good timing. Anyway those ain't my point. The point I was showing is that, at least right now, RotR and ShW have plenty of similar units so you we don't need to ask for "x" from ShW to be in RotR, if appropriate and necessary the team will do it themselves or design a unit similar to "x". |

I agree both the Chinese American and possibly GLA transport aircraft could do with an updated skin and model...Will they receive this?
