In this update, we are showing an upgrade to a beloved "hero" in everyone's hearts (and frustrations):

The infamous sniper has been upgraded to a higher quality standard set by Rise of the Reds.

There is no stream this week, but check back next update for the recording if you missed it!

I see the regular (also used for stealth), the demo and chem variant. Not to mention the oh so ever magical cape demo8.gif

Hopefully SWR will be generous to us and refurbish all ShW infantry to ROTR standard.. biggrin.gif

It's terrible idea to change models in ROTR standarts.

Why do you think so? The number of polygons isn't much higher than before (with models of high-tier and hero units being exceptions) if you worry about the performance.

Cause I'm worry about perfomance, everybody knows ZH engine is rotten, I don't wanna play slide-show game

The changes are mostly in the textures, not the models themselves. While these heroes have higher poly counts, do remember that this unit is seen at maximum 8 times in the game, which means a total of 8 draw calls.

Thats absolutely nonsense to be honest.
Anyone whom experiences lag in ROTR is using a rather dated computer and while i know not everyone can afford a top of the line machine, these infantry models will most certainly not cause a drop in performance.

I'm kind of hoping you keep the reversed aesthetics of the Stealth General's RPG Trooper and Rebel though, I liked those ohmy.gif

ZH sage is not that rotten.

I honestly think the Toxin Jarmen should get a Gas Mask, cause you know...

EDIT: Still, it looks aesthetically cool and makes him look even more unique.
