So In this thread I will be posting links to Mangas and Manhwas that are good and you should give a shot at reading. I will also add more Manga if I find it as Unique or Interesting. smile.gif

You are also welcome to post your Favorite Manga here. smile.gif

The thread will be updated and Criticism will be welcome. All the links are given due credit i.e; Mangafox. biggrin.gif

Also I would like to suggest that you read the story completely, then look at the reviews and topics lest you want to be SPOILED.

Notes :-

1) When you post Manga, make sure you edit your original post and put them there like EDIT 1, EDIT 2, etc along with date of edit. For an example look at edit 1 of this post. This is done to make the thread easy to browse.

2) Do not post the same manga twice. If the Manga you recommend has already been posted, there is no need to post it again. You can however give a review about it and even give it a rating. Spoilers should be blacked out.

3) Posting links to the recommended mangas is advised as it allows for easier navigability for viewers.

4) These notes can be updated. ENJOY!!!!!!!!! smile.gif

Mangafox... *blegh*

Though Beelzebub is pretty good.

Here are some of mine:

1) The Gamer - Manhwa
Synopsis: Han Jee-Han has a strange ability - to him, everything around him follows the rules of a RPG, defined in stats, skills and items. When his mother asks him to buy tofu, he gets a mission. When he learns, he increases his INT score. He also sees levels and titles of people around him. But why does he have this ability? And, more important, are there other people like him? When he consults his best friend, he finds an answer; and more questions.

Genres: Video Games, Action, Shounen

2) Aoki Hagane no Arpeggio - Manga
Synopsis: When Russia developed a superior torpedo technology in the late 1990s, naval combat became essentially obsolete. But a few years in the future a mysterious force of battleships, the "Fleet of Fog" appears in the gestalt of ships from World War 2, using superior offensive technology and energy shields to take control of the high seas and quickly drive humanity into a corner. Yet one submersible, a replica of the Japanese I-401, takes sides with humanity and under the lead of young Captain Gunzou Chihaya, his friends and the ship's avatar "Iona" fights against the near invincible enemy in a struggle for Earth's future. Just where did these ships come from? Why do they have human-like avatars and what is their purpose?

Genres: Naval combat, Scifi, Action, (some) Mystery

Tower of God

What do you desire?

Money?

Glory?

Power?

Revenge?

Or something that surpasses all other?

Whatever you desire,

Is Tower of God good. I kinda got bored after reading the initial chapters because it was so confusing in my opinion. blink.gif

It's great if you like trickery, deceit and betrayal happening as commonly as breathing. I think the whole manhwa is built around that in mind.

Also, there are actions scenes in the middle, so just persevere through the start.

Black Lagoon, Jormungand, Bakuman, Princess Ressurection, Deadman Wonderland, Air Gear, GE (Good Ending), Sket Dance, Shibatora, the Bloody Monday trilogy, Horimiya, Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki, Btooom!, Mushibugyo, Coppelion, Nijiiro Days, Black Butler and +Anima is among my favorite mangas.

However, for the manga I recommended to read, there are two:
  • The first is Judge, because it follows a similar plot to the Saw movie, albeit it is more of a drama about crime and punishment. Read it by yourself if you want to know more; I don't bother giving spoiler about the story, but I will give a hint on the ending: "In the end, no sinners can run away from their fate."
  • The second is Onikirimaru, because the story in which a demon was bound to slay his own kin to become a human was very interesting, and touching as the story progresses. It also made us learn that the demons are actually spawned out of our sins and negative feelings, and eventually drive us to commit evil and heinous acts as the demons did.
