Technical difficulties, i know this problem is everywhere for a lot of people

I have a crack of the game (bc i can't read disk i have a Laptop) and I launch C&C ZH with the generals.exe, never with the launcher ^^'
Because with it i have Exactly the same error.. But i can play with the generals.exe and i'm pretty sure i'm be able launch correctly a .exe of the mod x)

I have the Options.ini but i think i don't have the 1.04, and when i want patch the game i have the error : "old files not found"
And i launch the patch inside the good folder (Command Conquer Generals Heure H, yes, i'm french btw sorry for my english)

I really want launch the mod so what can I do? '-'

Just buy the game my dude lol everything will work fine and you wont have to bother with all the BS if dealing with a cracked game. Plus GenTool doesnt like cracked games so even once you get the game running if you wanna play multiplayer thats a whole nother pile of bs to deal with.
Most people get it from this package on origin, quite simple, super cheap, works great. will automatically patch so you wont have to deal with that either. I pirate A LOT of shit, but this is one thing youre better off just buying. You dont need a CD either.

reinstall zero hour or if u did move it somewhere safe first put the original generals.exe and game.dat back in the folder.

the reason you cant patch ur game to 1.04 is because u cracked it first.
u must do patch then crack

That, and make sure your crack is for patch v1.04, and not the default game.

I haven't 11 years old, I have already google the patch ect ect
I'm here bc I need to understand How i can install the patch so without the error "old file" bc i have a crack of the game 1.00
or how i can launch Rise Of the reds without the launcher

if on retail 4 disk

1. install command and conquer generals
2. install command and conquer generals zero hour
3. patch to 1.04 http://www.cnclabs.com/downloads/details.aspx?id=399
4. apply nocd crack
5. install rotr 1.85
6. install rotr 1.86


if useing the first decade
(already patched to 1.04)
1. no cd crack
2. install rotr 1.85
3. install rotr 1.86

if useing origin ultimate collection
(already patched to 1.04)
1. install rotr 1.85
2. install rotr 1.86

Also, it is advised to get mounted CD's of the ZH disks so that gentool doesn't fuck up your game if you try to play pvp
