Rumor had it that the game would take place in the New England Commonwealth, Massachusetts specifically! My face when: https://goo.gl/kdit8b Discuss. -------------------- SWR Co-Lead | Texture Artist | Modeler | Level Designer | Fan of all things Awesome |

Also if you search the developer tools you find this "PA system failure has occured. Shutdown of the Masterbrain has been authorized and all sensitive materials have been removed for security purposes. Please attempt re-access. Have a pleasant day." -------------------- "He who heard is not like he who saw"

Hoping for New York! Seriously, how come Fallout has a 50s aesthetic and basically say nothing of New York City?

The trailer does look promising, but going by Bethesda's recent record I'm not going to get too excited yet as everything since Fallout 3 has been a profound disappointment.
Cautiously optimistic that it ends up well though, but only time can tell... -------------------- |

Fallout: New Vegas? Skyrim? Wolfenstein? Dishonored? All those were profound disappointments? What? Only Skyrim in that list is developed by the actual Bethesda studios, the others are all third-party titles. And yes, to me Skyrim was a big disappointment. That's a discussion for another topic, though. -------------------- |

Indeed! Which mean's we'll finally see the illusive Institute, and what I find to be the ironic place where they hold Androids much like slaves and there's a underground railroad that lead them out from Boston ; an interesting parallel to Slavery but leading them to the opposite direction

I think somethings, based on earlier rumors and what not
Bethesda sucks at compelling main campaigns btw, look at all the elder scrolls and fallout 3, all have boring white/black things with little choice. -Time travel, this is a rumor, but it looks very likely, its stupid i now but game companies these days dont have anything new. These wont be simple flashbacks thats for sure. -The slavery of androids will likely play a secondary role, as rumors again -They seem to use the RAGE engine, looks alot like it. BTW, can they finally stop using the brotherhood of steel and (probaly) the Enclave? I dont want them anymore, they should die out completely. Just concentrate on the commonwealth and boston itself. |

The Brotherhood is an integral part of the Fallout-verse. They have been around since just after the Great War and spread throughout much of the former United States. It is highly likely they ventured to the technologically advanced Massachusetts Institute of Technology, aka The Institute, in search of their tech, because they love tech. First thing they should do is fix their broken engine.
I can't count how many times 3 and NV have crashed on me. I had to save every few minutes so that I wouldn't lose progress. |

Few noticed few analyzed in trailer.
1. Vault 111 and Entrance: Last part was the main character wearing Vault 111 Jumpsuit and seems leaving the Vault to search or scavenge something. About main entrance, usually the Vault Main Entrance in cave and under ground for save place. But instead, the main entrance is some giant hatch at outside area. 2. Fallout 4 creatures: The Deathclaw, Brahmins, and Ghouls, some robots are back in game and pretty much improve themselves. 3. The Land Marks and Places: Judged those land marks and places, definitely is Boston and pretty amazing. 4. Weapons and Armour: At 2:23, there is a good old Laser Rifle and some part of crafts. Possibly bring back in weapon craft and items in Fallout 4. The T-45d is back and pretty big and bulk than Fallout 3's T-45d. I hopefully bring back like a T-51b or some Enclave Armour. 5. Factions: I not clear sure what kind of factions have in Fallout 4. -------------------- Let's kick this Russian Tank's ass back to the Bronze Age! Twitch Chart ID: Mr_kim82 Moddb ID: Mr_Kim |

I have made some analysis myself:
1. I believe that the protagonist wakes up from cryogenic sleep, which was hinted at by a KoOtaku leak a few months back. I believe you play the prologue just before the nukes hit, go into Vault 111, and then wake up 200 years later. Or maybe your parents deliver you as an infant, you grow up, go into sleep and then find out your parents have become ghouls. How creepy woul that be? 2. The Vault jump suit seems to be based on the FO1 and FO2 suits, which were brighter and tighter, just the way I like it. 3. The unfinished t-45d in the garage could hint at making your owna armor or making makeshift repairs, and maybe that place was some sort of player home? 4. The Mysterious Stranger appears in that darkened plaza. 5. USS Constitution has two rocket engines attached to its aft. Rocketship confirmed? 6. Sexy pre-war cars. 7. Protectron has a sazzy yellow paintjob. 8. More verticality I have noticed. There are far more taller buildings here than there was in previous games. I even saw some skyscrapers in the distance of the final scene. The Institute is perhaps located in the shiny-looking building overlooking Boston. -------------------- |

I don't think so. The Brotherhood is an integral part of the Fallout-verse. They have been around since just after the Great War and spread throughout much of the former United States. It is highly likely they ventured to the technologically advanced Massachusetts Institute of Technology, aka The Institute, in search of their tech, because they love tech. @Svea Rike: agree with you No brotherhood= no awesome power armors Maybe we even get east Bos as in tactics: that were kinda of fascist and more interesting than the usual Bos @Pepo: nope, I think it's the usual BOS, caring about tech. First thing they should do is fix their broken engine. I can't count how many times 3 and NV have crashed on me. I had to save every few minutes so that I wouldn't lose progress. @Dementor: They will be using a new engine known as the Void Engine Few noticed few analyzed in trailer. 2. Factions: I not clear sure what kind of factions have in Fallout 4. @Mr.Kim: 1- Depending on the game, the vault entrance could be different. Probably it was a new way to show the power of the Void Engine. 2- New types of animations for those thing that's for sure 3- it is boston 4- This is probably meant to make a difference to Fallout 3/New Vegas T-45d and get your hopes down on the Enclave Armor. 5- We will have our answers on E3 and on release I have made some analysis myself: 1. I believe that the protagonist wakes up from cryogenic sleep, which was hinted at by a KoOtaku leak a few months back. Inspired by Wasteland Defense mod, most likely. Been playing Shelter this morning and it is awesome! Probably will be picking up the standard version; not much into bonus content and not digging the new pip-boy design.
