GLA in this mission are indeed a pain in the arse. But a nice touch.
Giving them Scorpions makes them slightly OP vs the units given though. I had to pre-scout them, leaflet drop and ambush as not to lose any units to them. -------------------- |

I lost my ambulance to GLA . Then i happily took down some walls to promote by Rangers so they can auto heal . However a troop crawler ran over my sniper in the latter stages of the mission

Just keep your MDs next to your ambulance, same for the sniper, and you are out of problems. Micromanagement is as always the key to keep them alive.

It was a mistake on my part and i was too lazy to restart the mission. So i took down the walls and got the rangers to auto heals by promoting . Hopefully that'll be fixed in the next mission.

It's been a long time comin but here is the newest mission in the ongoing struggle, and lucky for you its right on time with the latest update. Enjoy!
ScreenShots http://forums.swr-productions.com/index.ph...post&id=171 http://forums.swr-productions.com/index.ph...post&id=165 Briefing General, one of our supply convoys has been ambushed in a small german town by Russian forces, these supplies are critical for the ECA war effort. Your mission is to break through the Russian defenders guarding the town and to destroy their base before the ECA runs out of supplies. The Download Link http://www.megaupload.com/?d=LCHKRN7Y Known Problems/Bugs:Occasionally the AI will get stuck in the town and cause a huge traffic jam(rare) Planes will not attack sometimes, its like a 50/50 chance of attacking (not sure why) Some of the camera angles dont work well with the terrain but nothing major -------------------- Signatures are overrated :)

The 30 minute time limit is ridiculous, especially when the city is massive and the base is so spread out. Had to restart plenty, plenty, plenty of times. Otherwise it's okay.
I still don't get why they are in Western Germany though. Pally spam works wonders. This post has been edited by Destiny: 3 Jan 2010, 5:23 -------------------- |

Here is the deal with the missions, I have two more planned for a total of 5 US missions. The next mission will be called Operation Forest Reconissance and after that Operation Black Gold. I havent decided whether i will make missions for the other factions, but there is a chance I might.

I like these missions, they are perfect balanced. Easy and hard at the same time, depending on how you play.

If you want to have a mission you must first plan it out. For example you must decide what setting such as desert, forest, snow or jungle. Then what i do is i draw out what i want the mission to look like on paper. This way i dont just have to try and make a map with no guide. To actually make the map you do the terrain first followed by ground texture. Remember texture for mountains and such is different. After that you add objects followed by team objects. If you need to script i suggest you look at the EA missions or my last mission as they have the same kind of scripting. Lastly doing the terrain and texturing is very time consuming so don't get discouraged because it is taking longer then you anticipated.Good Luck!
P.S. Regarding my mission i took a break this past week from working on it, so next week i should be moving ahead with it at full speed. -------------------- Signatures are overrated :)
