Came across this program today:
http://www.scirra.com/ It's basically a clone of the Clickteam suite of programs, including MMF2 which I was using for DTU. This basically serves as a similar program which fixes a lot of the problems the klik programs did. It also has an RTS pathfinding movement right out of the box

Some of the sample games look pretty awesome, the fact it's open source is pretty good too.
