1.87's AI is done, am free and still motivated to work. I am tempted to renew the Shockwave AI for my own entertainment.
Nothing fancy, just better optimization and bug fixing. Who's interested? -------------------- Not a Rusty Spoon........The_Hunter uses a goddamn wooden spoon on his AI Scripters.... |

Small problems with Shockwave AI (TBH, I just wrote this comment to keep this topic alive )
- AI don't always react to defensive stationary structures and passing enemy units. Apparently, they are more likely to pass through them and get themselves killed. - Most AI on medium difficulty are having issues with their economy. Most generals don’t even build (Black markets, supply drop, and internet center) except vanilla China! You can see a huge difference between Vanilla china and other generals. As result they'’ll stop attacking you and rebuild their base. (remember this only counts for medium difficulty.) - AI don’t capture oil derricks/refinery’s often. they will mostly ignore them. (they will definitely leave them when they have a start economy of 5000$.) this counts for medium difficulty as well. There are also plenty of score streaks, units, buildings they won't use at all. but i guess you guys are already aware of that. A couple examples of things they dont use: Strategy center bombardment, carrier airstrike, leaflet drop, GLA Mines scorestreak, bunker upgrades, stationary airport, cluster mines, mine dispenser, flame thrower, listening outpost, and so on. You guys may already know all of them.., but maybe not.. GREETINGS This post has been edited by JasonGunfire: 15 May 2018, 9:56 |
