Hi everybody.

I have a problem starting Rotr 1.5. When I try to open the game the command prompt flashes for a second and then nothing happens. I have tried opened it as Admin. I have tried to install Rotr on the desktop, and also changing som files form big to bat or something like that, can't rember.

Here is a list off things that can make the solotion esayer.

I have C&C the first decade, and yes ZH is pathced to 1.4
I have Windows Vista Home premium with...

Prossesor: Inter core 2 Duo CPU
3,00 GHz
RAM: 4,00 GB
32-bit operating system

So yeah I dont think my pc can't handel the game/mod

And one last thing, the older beta's for Rotr worked just fine.

Thanks

Did you install as an administrator?

After all the troubleshooting I could think of and some testing the mod still wont start. My conclusion is that Rotr 1.5 on my computer has developed self-awareness and does not want to work. Hopefully the next big Rotr release won't develop self-awareness.

Lurk, cleaned and mounted.

Ah well. I'll ignore whatever that's above my post and lay down the drill.

1. Uninstall ZH, delete the entire folder.
2. Reinstall, checked if patched to 1.04.
3. Install and patch RotR to the ZH folder's location and don't spamclick on the next button.
4. [Insert Vista admin thing here]

Edit: 5. Compatibility mode, if it's even relevant.

Just rename RotR.dat to RotR.exe and run as admin. If you then get the "serious error" message, there is nothing i can do to help. I have the same issue and still no solution.
