Hi my name is General Camo and i would like to make an announcement, I am starting the Shockwave tournaments. I also have tournaments for the sister mod ROTR but that will come later. First if you want to join the tourneys then join The "Tournament Group" on hamachi. There is no password. We will use tourny maps. The first tourney will be a 2 vs 2 map. We will be using Tournament B. You must be next to your partner. There are no rules (other then exploiting game bugs). After this I will make a tourney for ROTR. So remember, create armies. here are some examples:

It's far more worthwhile to have this as close as possible to a recent release in order to get as many entrants as possible.
Not to mention the Tournament Maps except Tournament Desert suck. --------------------  |

Don't worry this won't be for a few days. I am giving a deadline for the shockwave .96 release (11/15/09). Hopefully this should be released by Christmas time. I decided that I will do ROTR first. Meanwhile here are the rules for both the game and the hamachi chat system:
1. The most important rule, TREAT OTHER PLAYERS WITH RESPECT (Yes you can blow up all of there buildings, thats different). I don't care if another player has destroyed your base, just treat players with respect. 2. There will be NO swear/cuss/curse words. I don't care if a player has just destroyed your 40 emperor overlords rush. This is NOT a bad mouth convention. 3. There will be NO exploiting bugs/glitches etc. And when I watch your game I will know when you start getting 50 overlords at a time from 1 war factory with only 100 $ left. 4. Just winning the match will not make you automatically win the tourney. If a player beats all the bases but 1 and the other player destroyed nothing but suddenly with a huge period of rest brings a huge army, the other player that destroyed all the other bases might win. I will come back with a formula using a points system to show who wins. Well those are the rules. Keep checking these rules as they might change. Bye for now. |
