Overlord/Emperor looks good, although I would assume that it uses a dual 125mm cannon. The Wiki also says 120mm, but as far as I'm concerned, it should be a dual 125mm. The PLA is huge and homogenous and having compatible munitions would be a top priority.

As stated by the Cncwikia, Kwai's Emperor armed "Armed with twin 140mm cannons, the Emperor Overlord was not to be underestimated." I've simply followed that as my base for the Emperor's Story -------------------- |

The CnC Wiki is just that: A Wiki. There was very little official background information on the weapons and technologies depicted in the game and it's hard to discern which bits in those articles are based on real sources and which were made up to make the whole thing look more complete. We base everything on what little official information existed on Gens/ZH ten years ago and our own ROTR universe interpretation of it.

Can I keep the ADPS part? -------------------- |

I'm not actually sure what you even meant by ADPS. Care to explain?
And yes, 125mm will be official. |

A friendly, general rule: Do not use technical terms that you cannot describe/define yourself. The only thing 'ADPS' reminds me of by pure random association is APFSDS, which is a type of kinetic energy shell used by tanks. However, you would not refer to something like an 'APFSDS cannon'. Just call it a dual 125mm smoothbore cannon. No need to go overboard with made-up technical terms just to be more tacticool.

Who doesn't remember the first time they've heard that quote in the Vanilla Zero Hour? Time to Read about the Dangerous Assault Troop Crawler and their eccentric passengers: the minigunners -------------------- |

It's just a troop crawler with fireports, and it will come back with Chen so there wil be official lore regarding it anyway. Leave it like you did Aurora. |

By the tone of this phrase, you are saying: Don't try something new. Right? WAIT for MARS' Veredict If he says that it's canon. then I will maintain It he says that's Non Canon. Then I'll remove This post has been edited by BlackRangerXIII: 4 Sep 2014, 23:14 -------------------- |

I like the first two paragraphs about the Assault Crawler and my official description of it would have been along similar lines. The third on the other hand isn't ideal. It seems a bit silly to wrap a unit like this in a shroud of mystery, to the point of citing unconfirmed reports and 'strange rumours'. This is a simple quasi-contemporary APC, not a UFO. Keep it simple, don't overcomplicate things. You could simply say that the Assault version of the Crawler remained in service with the more hard-hitting first line elements of the PLA whereas the basic version is mainly suited for transportation and reconnaissance and produced on a larger scale due to its simple setup.
Minigunner looks all right, pretty much matches the official take on the matter, i.e. PLA started mass-deploying rotary weapons simply to show they could, to the point of adopting outright silly weapons like the one on the Minigunners. |

I like that the USA favored the Cyclops so that they can all forget about the madman General Pinpoint Townes.
I also like that the USA and China went on their separate ways on adapting the Jinx Missile Defense System, with the USA in accuracy, and China in EMP. Doctrines 4TW! I can see why the Hellfire Drone is a useless piece of shit. I use the Battle Drone more often, only because of its repairing ability. I can imagine General Jeremiah Bradley attending the funeral service of the ZTZ-200G(N). After all, Bradley is, General Ta Hun Kwai's friend and rival. Either way, i don't think it will be missed, as the Shenlong exists! I think that the Minigunner (d)evolving into the Minigun Team makes complete sense, unless Fai's Minigunners were trained to be like Heavy Weapons Guy. All in all, makes complete sense. I await the GLA. |
