I have released the first part of Aleksandr's campaign, (4 missions) on Mod DB.

I know I promised 5 missions, but I have released 4 because i have a big plan for mission 5, which may require permission to allow me to create it. If I don't get permission, I have a back up idea which will be in the update once completed. For now, here is what I have made so far, and the GLA re-release is close to completion, so expect that to be released within the next couple of months. Anyway, Good luck General. |

Hi, your campaign is nice. Thank you for making these.
Mission 1: The nuclear launch location have a very obvious pattern, didn't take to long to figure that one out. I hope a Mishka can be provided, cause I do not enjoy bumping into Overlords with Tesla Tanks. 3/5 Mission 2: The SEAL parts was a little bit of frustrating. this mission cannot win without detailed planning and scouting. Took me the most tries in this one. 2.99/5 Mission 3: Need to be rush and careful in the same time. During first time playing, I thought Black Lotus is in my base and had my conscripts running all over the base for 5+ minutes. 4/5 Mission 4: The mission is nice but I think the mission is too easy, even easier than the previous one. A couple of Golems+Tesla+MTP can easily win the mission. I believe the overlord parts in the first mission are supposed to be handled by RPG conscripts

I believe the overlord parts in the first mission are supposed to be handled by RPG conscripts Shock Trooper with Tesla Coil with stun them. Just bring 4+ and then choose a unit for the veterancy. -------------------- |

Smoke grenades are your friend, besides, the Overlords can be taken out easily if you capture the Chinese outpost's airfield. Mission 2: The SEAL parts was a little bit of frustrating. this mission cannot win without detailed planning and scouting. Took me the most tries in this one. 2.99/5 It's a covert mission, different to Russia's doctrine I grant you, but I need a change from my typical 'destroy everything' style. Mission 3: Need to be rush and careful in the same time. During first time playing, I thought Black Lotus is in my base and had my conscripts running all over the base for 5+ minutes. 4/5 That made me laugh, I wish I kept her in the base now to confuse the player! Mission 4: The mission is nice but I think the mission is too easy, even easier than the previous one. A couple of Golems+Tesla+MTP can easily win the mission. I was expecting GLA to place demo traps all over the place. 2/5 That's fair, I see this mission as warm up to the fifth mission when it's out. Btw have you gotten permission to release that last mission or is your backup idea now in the works? Not yet, but I'm taking a short break regardless. I'll most like re-release the GLA campaign before finishing this one. |

Tested 3 out of 4 missions on stream yesterday. Here is my feedback :
- mission 1 was cool, but quite tricky due to the fact that you can't build tanks if you don't capture enemy buildings. Very well made intro - mission 2 was good as well, but really lacked in-game hints. Maybe not the power plant one, but definitely a warning about the snipers would help since you only get infantry for the 1st part. Very well made outro. - mission 3 was not really natural to me. Chasing Lotus was fun once I understood that I had to leave my base. And also featuring the most badass Russian vehicle ever (not spoiling anything) Overall, I really felt a lot of progress, both on technical stuff and map design.
