Many of us have seen many of these incidents before, not really a surprise...

While I do agree with you Destiny, this is just about the amount of how many mods this was stolen from.

Cold War Crisis, Rise of The Reds, Shockwave, NProject Mod, The End of Days, Vietnam Glory Obscured, and Contra are only to name a few that I recognized.

Regardless, it doesn't come anything near that guy who collected models from mods and sold them as his own at several model websites.

Using other peoples work without giving credit IS indeed pathetic, but I find it kinda sad how fervent modders defend their intellectual property against being reused by others... People outside the modding scene give away MUCH more than models & art, and they don't even make you ask for permission.

Anyway, just look at it this way:

QUOTE (C.C. Colton)
Imitation is the sincerest of flattery.

Guess it holds true for copying. ^^

I heard a lot of C&C mods (including ShW) are sold on the Philippines.

Is this true?

The only one that I usually see is Reborn (perhaps one of the reasons why that was probably the most popular ZH mod here in my country tongue.gif).

Like what the other said the only thing you'll see here is Reborn being sold. Well the other internet shops do have games of shockwave and RotR around this parts, because of downloading it from the sites you have provided though.

looking back... it would probably been better to have warned him first.

As TPAMs said they don't have copyright laws where he lives. He didn't know any better.

Sure, because smart people always assume that the laws of their country - or in this case, the lack thereof - apply to the entire rest of the world as well.

There is no such thing as freedom of speech anymore theres always something you are not allowed to talk about or say just like my country is not allowed to support its national football team as it hurts people feelings.

Hello, comrades.
Before I start, I must ask one question: how do you think battles are won? If you answered "It just take a lot of men", then I may suggest you to leave the academy. Why will I say that? It is because battles are not won just by simply shooting down your enemies: it also takes emotions to fight a battle. Hope, courage, pride, honor, love: these are the main emotions that it takes to win a battle. Yes, your equipment, your skills, and your genetics are very important, but it all boils down to one thing: Do you have the WILL to fight?
Class is dismissed.
WARNING: Watching this may result in losing your manliness.

Yep: I'm a rusty sword. VERY rusty. :/

Well, well, well, look what we have here. Another self-entitled little shit trying to steal our work.

...

Oh, but that's okay. He's not actually stealing content from other mods, he's just trying to bring them together. Yeah, that makes a lot of sense.
Expect that little twat to go down in flames once the chief hears about this. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, Zeke.
