I've seen this happen aswell. I think it's a SAGE bug and unfixable, doesn't really have a negative effect on gameplay though.

Yes this is an unfixable bug, however not a game breaking one. It could be fixed with more smoke however

AFAIK more smoke would also introduce considerably more lag. Smoke grenades are already known for being able to stop a game dead in its tracks.

I think I got another solution for the problem, however I have yet to test it. I will post the results later (if needed in an edit).

More smoke won't make a difference with a low particle cap, it's not a solution, it's just a coverup.

Did you really think that you needed to write that while it was actually obvious it is just a coverup, even more because I posted a smiley? Edit: What is this solution? You got me curious KamuiK Forget it, I have checked it double and it stays an unfixable bug. My though was to set a lifetime limit to the collapsing building, HOWEVER this is done already and has no effect as long as the collapse animation runs This post has been edited by KamuiK: 22 Aug 2009, 20:00 |

I will post the results later (if needed in an edit). "Fixing" something involves solving the problem that is wrong with it. Using "another" implies that what was previously said was the same as the word after it, here being "solution". You were implying that it was a solution, when it isn't. Alias, why do you even write this when no-one is actually interested?

Ah, so the "innocent" man just edits out his jovial semi-insulting macro image to preserve his reputation...

Ah, so the "innocent" man just edits out his jovial semi-insulting macro image to preserve his reputation... Nice. Ah yeah well, and? Do you want to stop me? Do I stop you when you do the same thing? Answer: No. As I said several times, I do not care about your opinion either way. If you would stop posting pointless comments and rather do something useful, I could actually like you. However, as you do not post senseful things, I do not like your attitude. That said, I have not found a solution yet, and maybe will never do, however I will try on. Unlike Alias. I don't change things I say to preserve my reputation. One of the reasons I am banned on Fallout Studios is because I spoke my mind. Going by your word for me is something we should all try to do, if you're going to insult me, at least let other people see you do it. Otherwise, you're just acting very two faced. Pointless comments? I was trying to prevent people less aware of how SAGE works from thinking that a higher amount of particles is a viable solution to bugs, such as Predator who posted in this thread. Edit: trying to preserve your rep again... nice. Good thing I quoted you this time. This post has been edited by Alias: 22 Aug 2009, 20:19 -------------------- |

Gentlemen, please.
How is this helping anyone? It doesn't contribute to the topic either. The question has been answered. -------------------- |
