weird questions
1. Why don't WHITE side of each faction fight together against BLACK side of each faction? 2. I think War will not end with someone defeated. What do you think? |

1. Because the dilemma of good people having to fight, injure and kill -other- good people is often a sad reality of war. European and Russian soldiers could totally regard each other as equals, friends or brothers-in-arms, but in the reality of the ROTR universe, they are now forced to murder each other because their respective leaders have made that decision for them. It invokes tragedy and drama when a war can be interpreted as an act of fratricidal bloodshed rather than a clear-cut battle between brave, well-meaning soldiers and violent fanatics; which is not to say that this more simple component is completely absent. For example, we do draw a clear distinction between the common grunts of the Russian military, who are basically no different than ECA or US soldiers and Aleksandr's Shock Troopers who are -meant- to represent a dark, amoral branch within the Russian faction.

Yes.
We are indeed adding a sixth faction, the Galactic Triumvirate, which specialises in true high-tech, i.e. none of that pathetic laser and drone pap that the US have. We're talking anti-gravity, metamaterial construction, electron and antimatter weapons, genetic manipulation, technologically enabled mind powers and a whole bunch of other awesome goodies. |

I thought sixth faction would be Japan but if there REALLY were aliens, I'm pretty sure that Russia wouldn't waste the time to fight against ECA but instead, fight against or with aliens. Maybe their tesla weapons were created by aliens or Alien wants the world to fight each other to attack and conquer the world at once and SWR productions need to edit/remake the shellmap since the old one doesn't match anything about aliens... |
