The title says it all. In every stream even with 1.85 it is rare to see a full 2v2 game without abruptly ending due to a "mismatch". Is SWR working on something to fix this? I heard they are building some kind of Net so that players will be able to enjoy multiplayers. This issue must be addressed somehow so that we can all enjoy big games like 3v3 or 5FFA and more...
On another note, is there anywhere a group where ppl gather and play multiplayer games? I heard there is a hamachi group but dunno anything else... |

We had far more games without mismatches than with mismatches during our normal games, due to some reason.
Also, SWR.net keeps improving constantly. What will really help here, is a large-scale testing phase that will begin with the release of 1.85. This post has been edited by Knjaz.: 18 Mar 2015, 10:41 |

There's no way to fix mismatch errors, They can reduce the possibility but they can't remove it at all. Also there are a lot of matches without mismatch. After stream 31st, I rarely see mismatch errors.

The main problem with mismatches is that we rarely know what exactly causes them. There are a couple of coding and scripting faults that are known to cause them but most of the time they happen randomly and apart from a big fat message saying "shit happened" the game does not provide any more information about what went wrong inside the engine room.
If you want to play on hamachi until the release you should join "C&C Generals ZH Mods" network (no pw) and you'll find some people there. This post has been edited by XAttus: 18 Mar 2015, 12:25 -------------------- XAttus

As far as I know, significant portion of playerbase moved to tunngle, and they say it's far more stable. |

Network Type: Premium
Network Name: Rise of the Reds Network Password: rotrism although not that much players are playing in this network, it would be great if the remaining active players on hamachi transfer to this group while 1.85 is still not out. |

I just joined the tunngle network, looking forward to see some of you there this evening
Don't worry about the lack of people, Cracker, I think more will come if we spread the news. -------------------- |

I really cant keep track of where the playerbase is active cause I dont have a public version installed at home nor the time to do so...
But Tuungle or hamachi we have a chat that you can ask for games and someones usually up to respond. I'll add you there Nemesis if I havent already As for the missmatches, Its a hiccup...One small bit of data being missing from the other one causes missmatches...Its such a small hiccup that we usually cant spot it.If we had the game code Im pretty sure we could upgrade it tenfold to make sure missmatch is a thing of the past but alas EA games...You greedy lil bastards 5FFA's works quite smoothly in pvp games but 3v3s could use some more public testing once 1.85 is up. Hope this clears it up abit... -------------------- |
