For some reason, the moment the radar gets upgraded (to anything) it gets damaged... Needleless to say, if it's low enough...
EDIT: Doesnt matter if it's repairing or not, it still gets damaged.
Damn. Never seen that till now. Is there a way to fix it or it's the SAGE?
Ive also never seen this in game. Was this part of the AOD scripting? it looks like an AOD map
Oh ffs... You guys can simple test it by yourselves.. Get the radar that low, and wait till the upgrade gets finished.
No, no. No-one said you're wrong. You proved it with this video already. It's just that non of us have seen it 'til now.
Rik maybe right. Maybe it does has to do with the map.
Again, you could have just tested it yourselves. It doesn't depend on the map and it doesn't matter if the structure is being repaired; it just dies.
Just tested it. Didn't die on my end with both radar to air raid and radar to observation.
Same here. Hostile Horizon (ROTR NAVY), Arctic Circle, AoD 33, and Falcon Rising Russian missions all worked without any problems.
iv not seen this bug in 1.86 but iv seen it a few times in 1.85
Ok, just to make sure... I tested it online in a 3vs3 just now (1.86 obviously)... Same thing happened
Sure its not something wrong with your install?
Ok, just to be clear here: build a Radar Tower, get 6 RPG Conscripts, fire 4 salvos. From that state of health, try to upgrade. If it works as it should then it's an issue with mine and Oliver's installations, but I'm 99.99999% sure it's not that.
He is correct. Using version 1.86 here.
Experienced the same bug on following maps: Final crusade, Heartland shield, Farmland fury, Coming storm & Homeland alliance.
Radar does not take damage when upgraded at full or near full HP (even if it was damaged below the threshold and subsequently repaired back to full). When HP is low enough, radar takes damage from either upgrade (regardless of whether radar is being repaired or is taking other damage).
It doesn't appear to be linked to the damaged appearance either, because it starts happening slightly before that.
