Hi again!
Why do I get the error saying: "You have encountered a serious error. Serious errors can be caused by many things including viruses, overheated hardware and hardware that does not meet the minimum specifications for the game. Please visit the forums at www.generals.ea.com for suggested courses of action or consult your manual for Technical Support contact information." I just play the game and sometimes it crashes and this error appears, sometimes it doesn't. So I don't understand why. I know that my PC is not overheated and if it's a virus, then why didn't my antivirus pop up to notify me about it. Sometimes I can play smoothly but sometimes, this just pops up. Can someone tell me what's going on or why is this happening? Thank you. |

Can only tell you I get this error sometimes too, but rarely in the middle of a game. Usually when a match is finished, though I don't know if there is a fix... It's not a virus, quite sure about that. Best you can do is save the game right before winning to ensure you don't loose the progress (like in generals challenge missions).

SAGE is kinda... bad, and the closer your computer is to a potato, the more you get those. To make it worse, the ai's pathfinding also generates a lot of lag and a lot of objects on one map (ie trees or snow) also causes a lot of lag. 9 times out of 10 you're doing something laggy or buggy to cause any "technical difficulty"+crash (too many ai for your computer or maybe a known issue) so it's better to say what happened before the crash, number of ai, ai generals, and maybe even copy and paste the crash release info, located in your zh data folder in "your documents"

Mine just suddenly crashes out of nowhere whether i'm almost in the middle of the game or almost finished. So yeah, I started saving games whenever I play to avoid losing everything and starting over. |

I don't know but that error just randomly appears so I'm not sure if it's because there are too many ai or something. And here's the crash release info: CODE Release Crash at Wed Dec 02 18:13:51 2015

What OS do you have? I notice a WND error there, which is the file format for the GUI in Generals.
