I'm going to get it anyways, but how does it compares with fallout new Vegas? I honestly enjoyed it far more than Fo3 , yet I have only read one review where they compare the Also on metacritic it has a 4.6 in user scores . like if they are reliable on the first day Well NV probably has a better story, but FO4 is still great. Most of those user reviews are just people pissed off at the graphics. I actually find professional reviews more trustworthy. Otherwise, wait for Angry Joe's review. -------------------- |

i'll be able to give an impression later this week.
Can't play it yet due to the fact that it still needs to download for roughly 3 hours and i'm not going to wait for that at midnight. Also for everyone who can play please no spoilers. -------------------- |

Otherwise, wait for Angry Joe's review. Actually although I like a lot most of his reviews and the fact that he raised the issue of micro pays far more than professional reviewers, I was let down by reviews of sequels (civ V and specially air combat) so if he is new on fallout ( I don't know if he is or not) he will see the game different than fo3/nv players or the ones who played the original |

I will be playing a bit more before I make a cohesive review about this. First impressions are great.

A wise choice, man I decide stop playing Fallout 4 for while until release the G.E.C.K., some new patch, and announcement DLC. Seems pretty buggies for right now.

It works flawlessly for me. I did not encounter a single bug till now. I really enjoy it so far, just the inventar could be a bit more useful, like sorting by weight and stuff like this, but I bet mods will fix that in a few weeks

I do have one gripe about the game: A lot of the non-story quests are really similar. It's either get a certain item, or kill a certain amount of Raiders, and pop goes the weasel. But that is excuseable. Dragon Age: Inquisition was jam-packed with meaningless fetch quests and that got many GOTY awards.

i have clocked a few hours into the game now i like everything so far.
I did encounter a few bugs but non of them were game breaking or hindered me from enjoying the game. One thing i do find slightly annoying is the lack of a brightness slider (and if there is one its really well hidden) since i could basically play this game with sunglasses. -------------------- |

I found one under display... I think. Last used that to change the HUD color in the beginning, think I saw a brightness slider.

Dear lord! I just experienced a crash! And it happened when I was doing absolutely nothing! Not when I was running and gunning, firing explosions and stressing the PC before, but when I was literally standing still in a really low-detailed room.

Just wait for mods to pop up and you will be good to go.
Skyrim had also bright like daylight dungeons and nights and I improved that with lighting and immersion mods and good old ENB series. Otherwise things like torches or lanterns were absolutely useless. -------------------- |

^The thing about mods with Bethesda games is that I first started playing them in 2013, two years after Skyrim and three years after New Vegas. By then there were thousands of mods you could download. Now, they are slowly creeping forward and I don't know what I should download, so I'll wait a year or so before playing it with mods.
Plus, the game is pretty damn good as it is. -------------------- |

I would not mind at least an official HD texture pack like in Skyrim and perhaps a more functional inventar. Anything else is fine...expect darker nights maybe.

So what do you guys think of the dialogue system? I kinda like it. I don't think its special in anyway really and its not like its a new thing just now to this particular franchise. -------------------- |
