With the start of serial production of Armata this year and with the new technologies used in the new MBT, Europe (Germany and France) entered in the competition for supremacy of its traditional mechanized cavalry, and are betting their chips on a rival to the Russian Armata, is the Main Ground Combat System (MGCS) with 130mm cannon.

It is alleged that the Armata in the future will get a 152mm cannon to Russia theoretically hold the supremacy of firepower. With this ongoing evolution remains to know what the other powers (especially the USA) will do to upgrade its cavalary, as American Abrams for example gradually becoming outdated for modern warfare...

The 152mm cannon is only for the SPG variant, since the Armata comes in several versions.

130mm, huh? They couldn't up the fuck-you level to 140mm just yet I guess tongue.gif
