Query regarding tier 2 anti aircraft weapons, to avoid overkill |

As we know that most of the weapons do over kill in ROTR, especially the tier 2 anti aircraft weapons. So, is it possible to re-code their missiles such that if the primary target gets destroyed, launched missiles lock on to another target in the vicinity as they have successfully implemented in the Contra mod?

Oh yeah, I remember this one topic along with the multi-targeting system. It's a nice addition, however, the justification not to implement it was even more so acceptable.

It's been said already... for that system to work, the damage types need to be redesigned. One has to know that there is a limited number of damage types in the game yet a lot of different units. These damage types have to be carefully allocated so this is one of the main reason why it's not going to happen in this mod.
Use T0 AA, all factions have upgrades for them and in large numbers they can perform surprisingly well. -------------------- XAttus

YES it is possible with sage but we'd have to sacrifice other mechanics in order to get this to work.Same with the multitargeting via fixed wing jets. Not only that the grumbles delay from -target detected- to -Impact- is its primary weakness..Its INTENDED to do that.Otherwise with no overkill it would be the best antiair....EVAR Russia already contests the skys by cliping the wings of US raptors for example so hinds and other helis can charge in freely In 1v1 maps they can shoot your birds from their base to yours This would be so broken even if it were feesibly bro -------------------- |

^yes but the twingfang has a slow rate of fire unless it benefits from horde bonus and prop and has the shortest range
While the wotan has the lowest damage but highest rate of fire,plus it can fire on the move.It all checks out in the end -------------------- |

I thought Twingfangs don't benefit from horde bonus,rather units around it. Consider that Twinfangs, Overload Tank, Troop Clrawer, and Nuke Cannon are not benefit Horde Bonus.
