Loves guessing games

Interesting story. So is this to be considered as pure truth or is this a slightly modified defector version of the story? Gotta say the whole grey moral layout isn't looking that grey for most factions right now.

Love the idea and design of the Disruptor Team. The Shenlong looks badass, looking forward to what it becomes later. The new upgraded Speaker Tower looks totally... alien structure.

Most defectors, even when they believed they are telling the truth, are colored by their personal experience and ingrained beliefs. Therefore, it can be assumed that there are some modifications embedded.

Of course there was this one story that this lawyer told my dad about how he (the lawyer) "taught" refugees/immigrants/asylum seekers from certain countries how to spin sob stories to slander their country of origin so that they can get greencards faster... but then again, he probably thinks my dad is a gullible idiot (since my dad can't speak English well) and spin this story for a laugh.

I know that this may be slightly off-topic but after observing those new infantry units
I started wondering would certain Chinese Generals get new defensive structures or
replacement(s) for some old ones,example : Enhanced Gattling Cannon,Bigger Bunkers . . .

What is in game the difference of thermite weapon an napalm.they will be effective against armor or do less splash damage?

Been a long time since I posted but great update. Any chance the lore was inspired by the real life Edward Snowden issue? I feel like that might be where you got your inspiration Mars. With that said I can't wait for 1.85 speaking of which are you guys still planning on an end of summer release?

Right, the opinions of in-universe characters are obviously coloured by their own judgement and experience. Also, we've never been working towards the same -shade- of grey; some are lighter, some are darker.
The US are still grey because they spy a lot and operate overseas detention facilities that operate outside international law whilst some of the stuff they did during the GLA War was almost black when you consider what came out of it.
The ECA started out grey due to the notion that they intentionally left former EU members to collapse and the ECA itself resorted to landmines, clusterbombs, neutronbombs and chemical weapons, fully accepting the risk that these horrible weapons become even more contentionalised.
The Russians actually represent a lighter shade by comparison; Suvorov set out hoping to restore Russia's prosperity and glory but his (reluctant) willingness to start a world war and the fact that he enabled the horrors of Aleksandr adds irresponsibility and shortsightedness to his flaws.
China meanwhile has somewhat liberalised itself internally but it has adopted policies that are culturally imperialistic towards the other Asian countries.
The GLA still has the darkest shade of grey due to all the things they did in the past and their attitude in the present, which will receive some more attention soon.

Probably residual damage over time and being more effective against vehicles than napalm.

Thanks MARS for answering a great deal of our questions, but I have a question regarding the TOPOL-M. I remember way back before 1.7 that there was talks about giving the TOPOL-M the ability to direct each warhead. Also I heard there is going to be a base- base missile, so my questions ares;

1: Can we target each MIRV warhead, or will it act like the Cluster missile from Shockwave, where it lands in a predetermined pattern?
2: What are the differences between the mobile launcher and the base structure?
3:Will the TOPOL-M require a general point to unlock? And finally,
4: What is the cost of reloading the launchers?

Also, keep up the awesome work, I like to see what is in store for the GLA and the US. smile.gif

Besides the upcoming new units for all factions in 1.85 and 2.0, some current ECA and Russian units receive new voices. As I've heard, one of such candidates from the ECA is the Felin.

Well, I think that other factions need some updates, too.

Actually, Comr4de and I a little bit conversationed about new unit voices.

Including some Russian aircraft's voices and add more new 10 units voices(mostly replace them). Not quiet sure which one is.

That's 10 new voice actors. Some of which will multiply the amount of units voiced since they can act other accents.

No, you move.

Just a quick question, isn't EMP a "Signature weapon" most commonly associated with the US?
And is it on purpose that the loader/spotter in the disruptor and minigun team's locations are opposite eachother?
EDIT
QUOTE
- Crewed weapons aren't strictly a faction theme of anyone, so if we can come up with distinct roles for more of them, the other factions might get them as well.

Shouldn't the Pathfinder be turned into a "Squad" infantry since snipers are always accompanied by a spotter?

In ZH verse, China's the obvious "signature owner", whatever which nation is the RL owner (it's been there since vGen IIRC)

Also, I saw some rumors that China, USA and Russia are now already experimenting with workable EMP prototypes, though I don't remember the source...

As always a great job with these chinese units!!
ay that the first time

I have to say that i did not like the idea behind the Shenlong (and also the name) at first glance.
The desing is perfect, it really resembles a long chinese dragon with that curved tubes, and i also like the chassis.
Gameplay wise i thought it was just a dragon tanks on steroids, and resembled too much Immolator tank from Contra-zero hour.

That mod has as much effords in design put into it as poverty in gameplay, i don't want rotr to go even loosely in the same direction, i'd just hate it.

The fact that changed my mind is the different role that the shenlong fills, the cone area damage opens a lot of possibilities, also thinking about that the wideness can be changed and that special weapon Mau get emp and nukes!!

Can you be more specific about the three different stances of shenlong?

"No. Not even in the face of Armageddon. Never compromise."

Just perfect to incinerate the enemy hordes! You also can make three Shenlongs and select the option '90 degrees' - done! Now you have an effective mobile defense line against ground units.

I'm imagining this monster with the nuclear and black napalm upgrades, simply unstoppable! mindfuck.gif
