How does any of that go against anything I said? Korea uniting under one government does not change anything about the DPRK aside from giving it more land.

North Korea already ceased to exist by the time of WW3. The ROK is also in really bad shape now. No point in having it as a new army.

On the other hand, Japan may be the better option. But theirs gears won't much different compared to USA.

As said, the whole "add DPRK" idea was in jest. But I will say that I find the very concept of the wrong Korea prevailing deeply disturbing. At least tell me that the north was absorbed by China or something and not outright annexed by the wrong ones.

They were completely destroyed by South Korean and Japanese forces during the 3rd Korean war and China decided to walk around leaving it to its fate after a series of military failures. But it came at great prices however, as South Korea is forever ruined as an economic power. Much of the South's important infrastructure are destroyed, including Seoul. Now they have to absorb and support an unsophisticated population from the North as well.

True winner is China, as they got rid of both a long term burden and an economic competitor in east Asia. As USA have left the Pacific after ZH, there's nothing that to stop Chinese dominance now.

It is only now that I realize just how much of a horrific horror story the future this mod describes is. My soul weeps for the Kims for having lost their lands and for their people for having lost their gods. But at least the wrong korea suffered for their misdeeds so we can sort of claim karmic vengeance. It's not the same though. Newer will be the same.

The irony was that the Kim family was removed from power by theirs own generals during the second war in order to prevent an all out annihilation by SK and Alexis Alexander's marine forces as they have no chance of wining.

Then after the US left said North Koreans generals suddenly decided to repeat the same shit again, which resulted in the 3rd war. They got the better hand this time and managed to annihilate Seoul. I think chemical and possibly nuclear weapons were used. SK forces managed to stand still with heavy losses, but then reinforced by Japanese units, and slowly beat North Koreans attackers back.

This entire exchange...I honestly can't tell if Purple seriously, genuinely appreciates the DPRK and would indeed consider a world without it to be a literal hell, or if he's just running a lame joke into the ground all the way to the core of the Earth.
