He's explaining that it shouldnt be canon or semi-canon since it's wrong.

I think so too.

I wouldn't.

It's complete rubbish and thus detracts from the game lore because it is so factually incorrect, and may generate flak from anybody will a low level scientific background far into the future. In so doing lower the mods credibility for quality content if it is given sanction in any form.

I might suggest if you want to stick with 'behind the bullet' keep it to things that can be plausibly explained, where it 'physically "dafuq"' just leave it alone, you're just adding more 'dafuq' that will fuel the firestorm.

^This!

I really like your idea!
It sounds like the "Future weapons" series with that ex-Navy SEAL (no idea where you can watch it in US tv, since I am from germany, but you can watch it on youtube)

I also want to encourage you, or others, to make more of those. Maybe they can be put into the ROTR Wiki if the Devs like them..
The only thing you should be carefull with is things that are absolutely unrealistic, like Tesla, Propaganda and GPS-Scrambler.
If you try to explane those, this will sound silly.. no matter how hard you try.

So my suggestion is: let them as they are, do not try to explain them..

Well, if we are now trying to explain the less lolwut parts of the game, could someone explain me how does the revolver-loader upgrade for the Gepard and the Skyshield actually reloads and how it gives a faster fire rate? I'm curious about that.
Or just let it slide as well?
Also, Future Weapons was on Discovery Channel, so it might be still aired on it.

When all logic fails, do what 99% of the planet does - go religious:

Tesla - God farts! Since we were made after him (bible) it means that even god has digestive problems.
Propaganda - Propaganda emits the so called 'Mao Particle' - so awsome and incredible it heals and repairs everything.
GPS-Scrambler - Allah hides his chosen moro ... warriors from the devilish sight of the infidels.

There - problem solved. Science sucks. Go religious and everything can be explained so easily.

Ever looked up how a minigun works?

I would assume flatly that multiple chambers allows for quicker/easier loading for the larger flak shells than via a breach loaded varient like the Twinfang...although that doesn't well explain why the Twinfang only gets a limited number of shots (clip fed flak shells anybody?).

I'm only determined to keep crap content out of ROTR if possible. My posts must only ever stand on their merit of argument, not just personal opinion.

It's a revolver-style autoloader with 6 shots. Those 6 shots are then manually reloaded from the large cargo bay.

The twin fang and Gepard are both fairly easy to explain.

Firstly, the twin fang. It's actually a very old design. In the past, tanks such as the M3 Stuart of the USA had semi-automatic guns that were fed from non-detachable magazines. What the loader would do was fill a "ready" box that was attached to the gun. As the gun fired, it would reload from the box. So for the Twin Fang, this could be somewhat similar. The loader would be refilling the boxes as they emptied.

For the Gepard, it's similar to the mechanism used by the AMX-13 series of tanks (and also their larger AMX-50 brothers) were fed from large revolving drum magazines that moved with the turret (the turret was of the oscillating type so instead of elevating the gun, the whole turret would elevate instead). After a shot was fired, the commander would then pull the rammer/ejector (it was the same piece) and eject the casing from the breech. Then he would pull a lever to unload a shell from the drum into the gun chute. Following which, he would push the rammer to load the shell into the breech.
What we could be seeing here with the Gepard is an automated version of such a design, albeit one that can function with a non-oscillating turret.

Hope this explanation helps.

The Twin Fang's ammo isn't in a "Box" it's in a "Cylinder" like some World War II tank Autoloaders.

I know. It's part of my gig to shove Infopiles into the model's shape.
(Such as the huge vents on the tesla tank).

I believe that the Drones are disassembled within the vehicle and the crew assembles, activates and controls the drone when you order its construction.

3d printing for drones.

Heroes have a something all legends have. LUCK. The sniper got them in the arm, anthrax they've built up an immunity to, nukes, just plain being under something big at the time of the blast.
