I want to make a plane that acts very similar to the spectre, except that you can control it. Problem is getting it to orbit an area over the target. The plane just likes to jump to a different target instead of maintaining orbit.

PS. The plane currently has the same locomotor as the spectre orbit.

The weapon needs an acceptable aim delta of 90 or 180, one of those.

That sorta works. The problem is that the plane doesn't orbit an area, it just flies to new target or just sometimes wanders off.

You can't make buildable units orbit a fixed area. It will always be in an orbit relative to it's target. The only way to stop it from moving from target to target is to remove the weapons from the main jet object, or give it a dummy select target area weapon, and code it's actual guns as overlord turrets that automatically acquire targets, but that would make the unit hard to control and luck oriented.
