I have been playing through Call of Duty: World at War recently and I was mighty surprised by the soundtrack. Several parts seemed more or less copied from C&C Generals soundtrack. keke.gif

That soundtrack is nearly universal I have heard then in documentaries and movies as well as sampled in music tracks for years.

Same. I've heard the Chinese and American soundtracks on at least a dozen other occasions.

Somewhat related;
One of the GLA music is actually based on the turkish local musics...Thats why a local tv channel uses a track on its news...I'll see if I can find you a clip

I see. Well I really like Generals soundtrack, in particular GLA. I have played a lot of Freedom Fighters so the Russian soundtrack is more that familiar. I think you SWR dev team has done very well with the ECA soundtrack even though it isn't as relaxing as GLA and Chinese soundtracks.

Same here, I have heard a part of the GLA (!) soundtrack on a German documentary about hunting years ago. The irony was probably lost on them.

I've heard the USA soundtrack on both a Wrestling show, and a German documentary about explosives.

It's still awesome music though tongue.gif

I also heard the USA soundtrack in a documentary about the cold war/nuke bunkers.
