PAK FA? Options

Will the PAK FA be available to any of the Russian generals? I love that plane, and it would be so freaking cool to have it.

I was actually quite surprised to discover the striking resemblance of ROTR concept with real life PAK-FA. Remember that real life PAK-FA was unveiled for the first time to the public about one year (?) later (!) after this concept was drawn. Amazing!

BTW, what would be its characteristics? Will it perform similarly to Raptor?

Now now, no need to 'mericuhhhh all over this. The PAK FA is actually a multirole aircraft not a dedicated Air Superiority fight like the F-22 is. Even though the USAF retained the F/A-22 designation, it's still not a true multirole.

King Raptors in ZH were a joke, so overpowered

PAK FA however can probably match ROTR raptor speed, which will make it interesting to see who of these fighters will win a dogfight. Depends on the PAK FA upgrades probably. If the PAK FA also can do the evasive maneuvers I think it will win, but that one is probably reserved for the Berkut to indicate its high maneuverability.

Are you joking? the PAK FA looks ways better then the Berkut. The Berkut has those ugly invert wings and the black paint job it kind fall out of place with rest of the Russian vehicles unlike the PAK FA witch has the cool camo.

Raptors and PAK FA are not supposed to be carbon copies. Im pretty sure fully upgraded Raptor stats in terms of firepower/armour will be better than the FA, or general Griffon wouldnt approve of it, but the FA has, well, what IPS said.

As an american airforce loving player....I would say its too early to judge my somewhat overly patriotic friend.This is going to be added to 2.0

The testers and devs already stated that currently are we focusing on getting 1.8 out (basicly giving you guys ECA and making stuff ballenced)

So in a way....Nobody can say anything about this strange and (Hopefully) unsuperior aircraft.Then again Berkuts are equal to raptors in air to air firepower;

My take is that it would be better if all air units (possibly except GLA) had countermeasures, while USA was upgraded to PDL with a very slow recharge time. At the moment countermeasures are slightly underpowered - they have slow response time (i.e. Firing from below guarantees a hit on the plane, countermeasures have a min. time before they activate) and on smaller maps i often see the stupidity of missiles chasing its target plane back to the base and only then hitting the plane when it's going to land.
Also Jarmen Kell's can't be PDLed, I'd rather he didn't have insta-kill against planes and helicopters, very annoying and slightly stupid. Good damage and firing speed would be nicer. He would be a better support hero.

Well evasive manouvers are micro loving (Godlike micro and Im too lazy to even do that my self and its hard to master, Countermessures is an american thing....

This isnt realistic that much....Maybe countermessures will get a fix.....Im not sure yet...but its not THAT bad....

Thou jarmens missles shouldnt be evaded by the countermessures IMO.

But the missle thing I agree on, grumbles killing my units when they are about to land.

I particularly can not hit the enemy planes with the JK, aircraft are very fast, attack and disappear in a flash.
