Name: Railgun Crusader

Fraction: USA

Role: Shore-to-ship artillery

Weapons and abilities: Long range projectile launch system

Lore: Due to China's gatling boats shooting down American long range cruise missles (assuming the boats use a CIWS like targeting computer) the US needed a new option to defend their shores. Based on the design of Fauchon-Villeplee (patent US1421435) the US contracted Evans Corporation (because what don't they make) to make the Railgun Crusader.

Description: The Railgun Cruader is a artillery unit designed to hit fast moving targets at long range. It will have a low vision range; long reload; needs to deploy before firing; low minium range ,but high rang; and requires the strategy center.

Edit: I did not steal this from a already made mod (ex: shockwave), but based on the work of Fauchon-Villeplee.

actually USA will indeed employ some Railgun tech in the arsenal.
for a little teaser, one of them is in form of base defense. there's even one general will utilize railgun weapons instead normal ones.

Yes We may make Railgun tank, thoguth probably Crusader will be not large enough platform for this. By me in theory Paladin would be more suitable. its larger and already proved as testbed for point-defense laser We will see when we will get to this stage of development.
