How the hell is this Crusader tank realistic? This unit should be in a game like Tiberium wars or Transformers or something!? To this day not one tank looks or operates like this unit so how is this keeping in with realism? Just asking....
"realism" & ROTR don't go in the same sentence.
The whole C&C Generals was never about realism.
Is it a new trend ?Sending some random bulls**t about realism, just for the sake of increasing the number of posts ?
ECA must be OP because muh German engineering ! USA must have SUPERAIRFORCE and NUCLEAR JESUS TANKS because MURICA FUCK YEAH ! Lotus sucks because her model is not detailed enough and we can't see her boobs ! GLA should use old Russian tanks because ISIS stole stuff from old USSR factories !
Get it through your skull. Rise of the Reds never was, is not, and never will be about realism. Never. NEVER. NEVER.
You`ve been a member since 2013 and just now you noticed the Crusader tank ?
Like the guys said .. cnc never been about realism .
I expected responses like! Ah okay, I get the point now
I take it the game is not about AUTHENTICITY then. Thats a different story from the original intro when ROTR first launched. Makes sense now seeing the Crusader, GLA WW2 Kamikazes, and Hunchbacks! May as well move on to play Transformers Robots in disguise then! Still an excellent job by the developers though, good work.
Just saying...
keep in mind:
c&c universe != realism
keep in mind:
posting late after the point was made != contributing anything useful
While ROTR isn't about realism, the only reason the hover crusader exist is that it was one of the beta Generals concepts since the early days and devs want to bring some of those back. EA discard that idea in the final game, and for good reasons. It was the only cut I agreed with.
In a game where navy is not supported and maps with lots of water cause insane lag, being hover and amphibious is one of the least useful cliches ever. At least it get extra speed, but then its armor become weaker.
