IT'S ALL OGRE NOW!



This is a test map that contains every single faction unit, structure and defence, several of each lest limited so as to test upgrades or iterations, with a system for spawning GP planes, enemy units per faction and a means of researching upgrades pertinent to armor/health values for said enemy units.

Its features include:

- Starting at Rank 5;
- Almost limitless money;
- Completely flat map and neatly arranged building placement;
- All faction buildings, GP and default;
- All faction defenses, GP and default;
- All faction units [unless the no-unit map is chosen], GP and default;
- All Tech Buildings with convenient Engineers;
- Tunnel Networks at key locations for fast travel;
- Several Easter egg units added to USA Barracks [Doomguy, Duke Nukem];
- Enemy buildings with doubled health;
- A spawner system [more on that below];
- A means of promoting units to Heroic.

Note: The Recycler upgrades are available for all factions but the GLA, for the purpose of using the salvage collection mechanic manually; the following feature will help facilitate that.

How to use:

- Go offline, select Skirmish and pick the map for the faction you wish to test.

How to use the spawners:



There are two sets of spawners: one near the US airfields and the second near the US supply center. The spawners are white cubes with infantry standing adjacent to them; it is recommended not to kill them, for they trigger the spawners by walking into the squares. When one of them enters a square or is killed, all infantry will be removed and respawn in their original position.

The first set spawns GP planes for testing their armor/health values and the amount of AA required to intercept them. Once activated, it triggers a siren, despawns the infantry, and the plane of your choice will fly out of the top left corner and go in a straight line until it goes beyond the map. Once it has either been destroyed or left the map, the infantry will respawn and you may call in another plane.

The infantry corresponds with the faction GP plane that will be spawned [purely for clarity sake].

Starting from the first row and going from right to left, it will spawn:

- Blackjack/FOAB
- Backfire
- Conscript Drop heli/Halo
- Russian cargo plane
- US cargo plane #1
- US cargo plane #2
- Guardian Angel TMD

Second row:

- Spectre Gunship
- B-52
- B-1B
- B-2
- A-10
- Leaflet Plane
- Pegasus helicopter

Third row:

- Victor bomber
- ECA cargo plane
- Vulcan bomber
- Eurofighter
- Badger bomber
- Chinese cargo plane
- Chinese Mine Drop plane

Fourth row:

- Flare/EMP/Parabomb bomber
- GLA cargo plane
- Mi-6 cargo heli

Note: The pre-placed defences may kill the GP plane before any of yours do. For best results, sell off all the AA that is near the flight path and rebuild them when/where needed.

The second set governs spawning of enemy units.



From the image's perspective, the middle square - the one the soldier is facing - spawns vehicles that belong to his faction, the top square spawns infantry, and the bottom square spawns air units. Only one faction's units may be present at a time - if you have already spawned Russian units and moved a Felin to spawn ECA units, then all of the former faction's units will be removed.

The soldier who triggered a spawner is removed and placed back in his original position; if you try to spawn more units of a faction that is already present, you will only be granted the ones you've lost, meaning that the total number of units will not change.


Regarding the four squares with a Pilot in between:

From the image's perspective, the top square makes the enemy upgrade its units with upgrades that only affect their health or armor for testing purposes [ERA, Composite Armor, Countermeasures, etc...]. Once triggered, a timer will appear to inform you of when the upgrade will be researched.
The square in front of the Pilot removes all enemy units, regardless of faction.
The bottom square does... stuff.
The square behind him respawns the enemy buildings you've destroyed.

Promotion system:



In the bottom corner, near the Chinese base, are two Militia Tanks and several Militia Riflemen. These respawn after a short while and are used to promote your units. Killing either of these instantly promote a unit to Heroic. Note that units that cannot target ground, like heavy AA, may still be promoted by crushing the infantry.


Note: Due to a certain bug, the Munitions Bunker is not present on the map. However, the GP has been made available to every faction by default and Munition Trucks have been placed as a substitute; bunkers that you build yourself will function normally.

I'm getting the technical difficulties error when i try to play the maps what am i doing wrong ? i extracted the maps in the zero hour data folder in documents.
Also which version of rotr are these maps compatible with?

Some IRL shit is happenning and i'm hella busy, and when i am free i'm extremely tired to do anything but sleep. I'll try to get em updated on Friday.

Current maps are not compatible with new build it seems, so u have to wait for new maps that are compatible with the build.

Thanks for the reply but the thing is i have 48 gb of shockwave and rise of the reds installed, every version that is so i was curious about the files that are now uploaded which versions of rotr can they run.

1. download the rar/zip file
2. extract the map folder from the rar/zip file
3. go to C:\Users\(username)\Documents\Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour Data\Maps
4. drop the map folder in there
5. start rotr (no swrnet)
6. go to single player skirmish
7. map will be in the list of maps

When I try to open this map in world builder (I wanted to see what was happening behind the curtain) I get a bunch of error messages when scrolling around: something about too many buffers and too many shadows.

Eventually it crashes. Is this normal? And can I fix it?
