Don't know how many know have been following it, or liked Renegade at all, but they released their 1st public beta on the 30th of September.

QUOTE
Today is the day where we release the very first incarnation of Renegade X. It is our first beta, which features the basis of C&C Renegade's game mode and units. It's the very first of many public releases, given to the public to ensure a stable and exciting full release of the mod in the future. Renegade X 0.35 does not contain everything the mod will eventually offer, as it is an early beta, but it is your chance to get an early taste of Renegade X, and an opportunity for you to share your opinions, ideas, and help us in the process of fixing glitches.

Head on over to their forums to find out more and for Download Links.

Note: You need a legit copy of UT3 to play.

So far I am very impressed with their work, of course it is a beta with quite a few bugs, and it is no way complete, but give it a try wink.gif

Yeah, and? How about some description how the game actually feels now, if really feels like Renegade in the first place.

I would say that right now; its between Renegade and UT3, not quite this not quite that.

As it is still a work in progress it wouldn't be very fair for me to say that I still find Ren more fun as it is a complete game ( i do..), but I see a lot of potential for RenX once it is more complete.

That DOES sound promising. I might get it when I get UT3 somewhere cheap.

Don't know what game stores there are in America but whatever major game store is should have them.

And yeah Renegade X is fun but its buggy and can get a bit boring after a while so I'll wait for the next release.
