Here's some random crap for the first of April:
For the last time, this is a spaceship I designed, not a mutant cucumber! I refuse to comment on this here... -------------------- ... wait, oh s--t! I've been surrounded by raging modders!

... and now back to some good old tank making.
I'm not sure why I made that one pink... oh wait, it was my friend's suggestion. As I said on ModDB, some parts still unplated with ERA due to laziness and someone sold the rest of the ERA to raise funds for more vodka... -------------------- ... wait, oh s--t! Since lately everyone seems to make their own setting/universe I might as well throw my into the pile. Though I will point out that I had the concept for a while now (what, you think that mutant cucumber starship was a stand alone project?)... Yes, it's a sci-fi setting (yea for conflict on a interstellar scale!)
------------------------- The year is 5th century EE (or 28th century AD or 420 millennium ST, all depends on which species you ask) List of species: Humans: -individual size: medium with small standard deviations -Features: biped, good endurance, lack built-in offensive or defensive features, can make and handle tools. -Life expenctancy: ~30 years -Territory: 7 solar systems? -Population: +75 billion -political structure(s): varies amongst themselves, though ultimately irrelevant. The species as a whole is ruled under an a number of absolute authoritarian rule by the "Ascended Ones" -Economic structure: post-capitalism in general, the vast majority of the species live under a subsistence economic state -Tech level: medium to very high. -History: the eternal struggle between the social/economic classes had effectively by the late 22nd century AD with the complete domination of the elites, while for most of the species' history the upper class only process the means of production and have to rely on some form of social contract (as in, you have to have the support of someone else beside yourself the individual) the advancement of technology in the fields of AI, synthetic production, and cybernetics has allow individuals to wield what amounts to the power of the gods. Not only do the elites own the means of production and the means of labor, they have become answerable to no one except themselves. By the 28th century, the majority of the species has nothing to offer beside their continuous suffering, much to the amusement of the "Ascended Ones". Rangolians* -Individual size: Medium to large with small standard deviations (slightly larger than humans) -Features: Biped, great physical strength, covered in scales, process claws, can make and handle tools -Life expectancy: 50~70 years -Territory: At least 3 solar systems -Population: +5 billion -Political structure(s): Varies, though mostly various levels of authoritarianism -Economic structure(s): Varies, though mostly post scarcity types -Tech level: High -History: The species known to humans as the Rangolians was a pre-civilization (i.e. hunter-gather) species until a mere 5 centuries** ago, when a supposed mysterious entity known only as "The Goddess"*** arrived at their home-world and advanced their tech levels. Currently in the ear known as the "Second Expansion" with a potential showdown between the two power blocs. The original priesthood still exist as The Theocracy, though does not participate the larger society in any meaningful sense. Ahrohos -Individual size: medium, sightly to the small (slightly smaller than humans), almost no deviation. -Features: Biped, hairless, lack built-in offensive or defensive features, can make and handle tools. -Life expectancy: 50 years -Territory: unknown, supposedly numbering in the hundreds of solar systems -Population: unknown, supposedly numbering in the hundreds of billions... -Political structure(s): large numbers of feudal states all in theory under a supreme authoritarian central government -Economic structure(s): Libertarianism -Tech level: Medium to very high -History: Mostly unknown, though certain reports hints that they may have been possible for the onset on a interstellar dark age in another arm of the galaxy... ------------------------- *humans designated name only, they call their own species the Nitter or Nits **One Rangolian year ~ 1.37 human year ***Most Rangolians (actually everyone besides the priesthood, though the Theocracy claims that the entity is still alive in their Temple. Of course no one buys into that kind of nonsense. I mean, they can't be serious...) don't believe the myth, though the lack of any other explanations for their sudden advancement is a disturbing implication in itself... ... and now, I present you, the... Um... I haven't thought of a name yet... I originally wanted to make something along the lines of the Kirov class Heavy Missile Cruiser but something went wrong along the way... ... So now I ended up with something that looks like a bastard child between a Kirov and an Iowa... oh well. Eerrrrrrrrrrrrrr......... Dang...... I was just about to start modelling the Kirov...... But you've totally blitzed me....... Man I really need to get some sort of tutoring for my modelling, coz I really feel like mine is shit compared to you...... Oh yea, I almost forget, here's my drawing progress (or lack of, maybe I shouldn't have spent so much time playing various paradox interactive games...) over the summer:
