OK, this idea is for when u finish ROTR.
Perhaps there might be a new faction... what about israel? Their military is quite strong and may prove a useful adition, anyway i let it to you. |

Hmmm. Not sure if we'd commit to something as daunting as a new faction. It's harder than it looks -- I'm already booked on making the ECA structures BY MYSELF. (ITS DOABLE, HALFWAY DONE HAHAHAHA [/sanity]) but its an ambitious project - adding yet another although our code allows it, isnt part of our agenda.

Well, aside from Israels up-to-date armed forces, ROTR deals with military Super-Powers, and im sorry to say but Israel is not on par, with either Russia, China, USA, the European Union or the GLA (aka worldwide islamic terror on steroids). An all-out conflict (including usage of WMD´s) between Israel and one of those named powers wouldnt even last longer then a week, besides the results would be not good for Israel to say the least.
I cant speak for the Team but i guess this idea hasnt a big future. -------------------- |

There won't be any more factions than the FIVE we're already working on. Not only would Israel, with all due respect to their military prowess and tenacity, not be in the same league as all the de-facto super powers this mod is about, we'd also be hard-pressed to find unique themes and mechanics that would be suitable for them. All the major playstyles for RTS factions are already present in ROTR, so what would Israel be except for a pure novelty faction and a pretence for trolls to engage in horrible political flamewars on our ModDB page? Story-wise, they'd probably be smart enough to sit this war out entirely anyway and if any of the super powers were still dumb enough to invade and destroy them, well, good job triggering the Samson option and ending the entire world!

If anyone was going to be added I think Japan would be one of the best to work with but anyway why isn't this locked yet? Lmao
