What is a Frong Folder?, Trying to play the original GEN/ZH but cannot |

Hello all. I dusted off my old generals/ZH disks and decided to install them on my Win 10 laptop. Although I followed recommendations for compatibility settings from several online sources, I cannot get Generals to run at all. No errors, it simply does not run. When I tried ZH, I got the following "This Mod has been installed in the frong folder. Then a recommendation to come to this forum for assistance. I have patched both games but that made no difference. All I want to do is play the game since there hasn't been a decent RTG since ZH IMHO. Any suggestions?

meens u installed it in the wrong folder.
install rotr 1.85 then 1.86 (1.87 optional after) in the zerohour folder -------------------- |

I get that Skitt. But as I said, I was just installing the game itself from the original disks. I let the game create its own folder.
