it doesnt sound nice when you have the normal music an the music from Bach(IIRC)

Posted by: Viper 22 Jun 2009, 22:47

well, it's fun. also, its Wagner, not Bach

You don't have to toggle them on, I have included a script which will play the nook music when you're at 80% of the goal smile.gif

Otherwise, when you have turned on the victory tune too soon, your only way is to shoot down that nook tongue.gif

Well, I don't use it so much. I8.gif

Causes lag for me. Especially if more than one are playing it in range of each other

I believe accomplice is referring to his mission posted in another topic, as the Chinook plays the music after defeating the penultimate wave.

I had suggested this be a toggle function, that idea fizzled out though.

I'll bring this issue back to the surface if it's still present in the next internal Beta.

I have asked the same question in the old forum a couple of weeks ago, and the answer back then was, that it's coded in a way that the music can only be toggled on, but not off. There was no other way of implementing it, they said.

Using the ENEMY_NEAR condition as a music trigger is a better choice then toggle in my opinion. I8.gif

Well I can't see how that works.
Unless you just get it to do one cycle of the track and switch off... the rocket buggy horn isn't always on
