Crash when menu loads Options

okay, lets cut the bs, I seriously doubt its an OS or admin access problem I dont get errors on install, what happens is: the mod crashes as soon as the right-hand menu fully loads/appears the shell map loads and I can even watch it play out for a while, but that's not a lot of fun, yet once I move the mouse and the menu fades in it crashes the error in the crash info says access violation, which in my modding experience means its trying to use an asset it cant find. on a side note: shockwave works fine so could someone with knowledge of the mod who might know what it's trying to reference and might not be there
