Tournament Information Thread This is the official Tournament information page for ShockWave. Competing in the tournament is available to anyone and has no cost. However general knowledge of online gameplay gives a distinct advantage over people who only play offline and this is their first online experience. Now, when you are competing in the tournament, etiquette and manners are required, and excessive swearing and offence is not tolerated. When playing online you are not expected to abuse bugs in the game, however using overpowered units is accepted, considering you have been given this general randomly. The general rules are as follows:
If you are found not to be playing with these settings, your match will be null and void. Please be considerate to the level of players and their skills, but to compensate, people will go against people who they are at the same level with. If you have any problem with the person you are supposed to play against, contact me and I will see if I can change it. Players are responsible for organizing their matches before time is up, and victory of the match should be declared on the results thread, and a replay of the match should be uploaded, for evidence. Victors of the match will move onto the next stage. The common tournament style is designed for eight players, but can be increased. It involves 3 stages: Preliminaries, Semifinals, and the Finals. The pattern can be downloaded as an attachment below. With that aside I hope that this tournament could become a successful and maybe even regular event. Any suggestions of change to the general rules, please reply here. Thank you for reading! This post has been edited by IonCharge: 23 May 2010, 18:17

Use hamachi... , the network should not be full I do use Hamachi and when I input the name it tells me I need password. I have tried both ID's :Shockwave and Zhaos. Is there something I am doing wrong. We use Hamachi all the time. This post has been edited by Bob: 25 Aug 2010, 3:54 |

Shockwave Room no longer exists, so Zhaos Room 8 will work.
