That's a very interesting pseudo-realistic take on the Overlord, I like it a lot. The turret has a nice and compact look to it, like it's actually unmanned and operated from within the chassis. The only thing that strikes me as slightly odd is the guns. Perhaps you could try making them about one muzzle length shorter and move that stabiliser 'lumb' a bit further forward, thus making the turret/gun mount area look a bit less busy.

Not sure what you mean by stabiliser lump? The thing on the root of the cannon, or just after that? That'd be the bore evacuator, it's usually near the breech, since it's there to vent the propellant gases out the barrel.
I went with enormous cannons for artistic reasons, to bring out the "I AM BIG" factor. -------------------- |

Naval variant of the Ka-52, with 2 35mm cannons and 4 Torpedo missiles, for a project I'm working on currently. This post has been edited by Sargeant Rho: 19 Aug 2014, 10:50 -------------------- |

That cannon tilts at a relatively low angle. I'd imagine a proper siege assault vehicle would be able to tilt their cannon nearly 90 degrees because some fortifications might be at a higher elevation than other. Nice model though!

Due to the magnetic booster, it can fire from far enough away to fire at things at a higher elevation, and it can tilt further up, as the entire cannon mechanism is inside of the elevation system.
As for the project, you'll see soon enough. QUOTE Type 390 'Trebuchet' Siege Tank
The Type 390 Trebuchet was developed for the second attempt at recapturing Epsilon Eridani e/Tierados, the first human colony to declare independence from Earth in 2280 after the first invasion failed due to the heavy fortifications present on Tierados. Cities and other important areas on Tierados are protected by large shield generators capable of intercepting any projectile or vehicle attempting to break through. The only way to bring these shields down is by bombarding them until they overload, and the Trebuchet is built to do exactly that. It's designed for high endurance, as such it's powered by two redundant microfusion reactors and has a built-in smelter to produce ammunition if needed. It's protected by heavy ceramic-graphene composite armor, with interior graphene spalling blankets as well as an active defense system capable of intercepting even small to medium caliber railgun rounds. Its armament consists of a single hybrid cannon that functions like a regular 150mm electrothermal-chemical cannon while mobile, and transforms into a chemically assisted railgun when it deploys into siege mode. It also has a twin 40mm autocannon turret on the top, and two non-nuclear shield-breaking missiles. This post has been edited by Sargeant Rho: 20 Aug 2014, 19:47 -------------------- |

The tank will most likely not appear in any game or mod, at least for now, It might appear in a short story or MAYBE a game in the far future, same for the Overlord. But the KA-52 will.

Overlord. If you intend to make money with that game i'd highly recommend doing something different because it makes you vunerble to copyright claims. -------------------- |

I know, that's why I said it will most likely not appear anywhere. I did word it poorly though, I was saying that the siege tank might appear somewhere, not the O'lord.

I can try, but I doubt I still have them. Also I don't know what most of them even were, and they are so old, you don't even really want to see them

Now I'm kind of stuck here:
It's a rather large ship at about 270 meters...and I don't know what do to about the superstructure, aside of the missing radars. -------------------- |
