Allow me to introduce myself before you try to disembowel me through teh internets. I am j0shh and I have been playing Generals and ZH for about 3 years - not online. Approximately a year ago, I was bumming around on the internet (back when I still had dial-up, but that's a different story). I think I was looking for ZH units to make into a wallpaper (yes, I was that obsessed) and I came across a render done by The_Hunter. I remember almost falling out of my chair when I followed the link to the site and looked at the features of ShockWave. As I was using dial-up, I could not download SW yet, but I did faithfully follow the site until mid-January, when I finally convinced my parents to purchase high-speed internet. Needless to say, the first thing I did online was visit www.shockwavemod.cncreneclips.com and download (this was back when SW was still FS). I was obsessing over SW for about 3 weeks and had some close calls on some of my finals that semester. About mid-May, I saw a link to SW's sister mod, ROTR and HAD to follow that link. After about ten minutes, I hit up the dl page and obsessed over that for about a month, and had some more close calls on second semester finals! This summer, I have been exploring some other mods and have set up some profiles on various forums. I have to say that none of the ZH mods I have found have near the quality of The_Hunter's renders, skins, animations or effects. I have tried various other mods that will remain nameless due to forum rules, and none of them have entertained me for more than half an hour.

Now on to the point of this post. SWR Productions has created such quality mods that I cannot bring myself to play any other mods for ZH. Now to conclude this very long post. The_Hunter, Comr4de, Prophet of the Pimps, and all the other SWR Productions team members, I salute you all! YOU make it happen!

Woah and here I thought we had something bad in this thread. While I'm glad you love our work you shouldn't it get to you like that man, get on work with school first and then enjoy the games

I recognise bits of this - for the exact same reason I find most other RTS games bland, just because I can compare them to shockwave. In any case, welcome to the SWR forums!
