Kane: "You can't kill the messiah"
EA: "Lol then we make clash-of-clans-clone with the messiah turned into a cartoonish character lol kek".

i saw it and yea not interested in the slightest, moving on.
It looks terrible, I will not buy it. Moving on.
I thought this was a free game.
To be fair to EA, if the game is pay to play, good and *strictly strategical* I would play it (like chess or uniwar)
Otherwise if it's the usual free to play EA nonsense, it better not have any non-cosmetic micro transactions.
But EA will be EA and C&C will continue to be raped, but eventually they will run out of free to play shit and have to sell the franchise. If no one plays the game how will they get money
The worst part of the entire presentation was the fact that there was a "pro" mobile game player.
That just saddened me immensely.
Alone the fact that they (as A big publisher) can't come up with a better concept is shameful. RTS as a genre can still work and not only in the competitive context. Although Starcraft 2 is the center of that area, the single player camapign and how it is presented makes me come back from time to time and I'm not a big fan of the starcraft universe. Red Alert 3 might be the last halfway decent instalment of the series. CnC 3 and 4 just copied the old formula without being real fun or bringing something new / interesting to the plate. It just felt like a unbalanced game with rushed build queues and paper units.
Going mobile is just name milking. Thinking back on Generals 2 and how they even failed to bring it on the road speaks for itself. Either they're out of creatives or they don't want to spent money on that brand. But yeah, it's saddening.
It was such a joke. If it is EA, the game will be filled with microtransactions. I am not getting it.
Guys, lets wait and see, maybe it's good.
We can call them out and be smugly self-satisfied we're right it's shit after they fuck up.
