I've recently got hold of an Alpha Build of Generals.
And I need some help with it. There appears to be no way to launch/play it? Am I just being stupid or is it unplayable? If anyone has another other Alpha's of Generals, would they be willing to share, preferably playable. The only program is GUIedit.exe which doesn't launch the game... All it seems to be is W3D and Texture files, but there is a structure for running the game... Any help appreciated. Well that's a disappointment.
I don't even have a W3D viewer anyway. So not much good to me xP Thanks for the quick reply though Hunter -------------------- |

You can get the models from this working in Generals/ZH if you're savvy enough.
They look like absolute crap, though. -------------------- |

I would like to just see what all these things look like... the original US buildings and the GLA structures and stuff.

Download the W3D viewer then, it's pretty self explanatory from there on.

The W3D Viewer has a bug, you cannot open w3d files with it directly, you have to select them from in the program AFAIK. Also can you please post a link to it?

And my internet connection sucks.
I've found a few audio files which I suspect Rotr may use. The voice used as the Kodaik and other Russian units are in here. QUOTE (Navy S.E.A.L.) S.E.A.L. Ready!
