Why are old planes so freakin' cool? Group: Members Posts: 107 Joined: 5 August 2014 From: Fort Belvoir, Virginia Member No.: 10578 |
So while I've been using a hand-me-down Mac (gasp) since my technical errors of 2 years ago, I've been making some units and buildings from Generals with the Lego Digital Designer. Even have some concept ideas with it. Heres some screenshots that should be uploaded as attachments.
The first is a concept rank 3 generals power unlock called the Airbase. It allows for up to 8 aircraft to be built/stationed there and helicopters are built 4x quicker (hence the 4 helipads, but it can see removing the outer 2 helipads and making it 2x faster for balance). Build price would probably be around 4000 and maximum build number is 1. The next 3 are just some more standard USA Buildings The 5th one is a concept GLA bomber, which irl was the Arado 234B (built in late war WW2 for Germany). I unlocked the plane in War Thunder and I'm thinking "if this was reskinned to look like a GLA plane it'd really fit in". So i did it. It'd have to be unlocked with the GLA Generals power for the airstrip in ROTR, but in SHW I could see it as a standard unit. Last is a version of the infamous Quad-Cannon. My version requires a single infantry unit to operate the guns. And here's a vid I did of the Hunter Killer Drone being made: LDD Hunter Killer I've got more if anyone wants to see em. Oh btw, I finally got a new laptop so I'm back to playing Generals in my spare time. Currently, have both Shockwave and ROTR 1.86/1.87 installed. But Origin being Origin I can't figure out how to get others in. It's good to be back
